I’m Jasmine, Today I have attended this salon. My first experience was getting my eyebrows waxed and tinted - It was with Sacsha and it was a very relaxing and amazing experience and I am super happy with how my eyebrows were done - clearly stated. However, I then had my appointment for manicure and I did not enjoy a single thing. Yes, the lady was incredibly nice but her unprofessionalism and inexperience made the appointment awful. I’ve had a huge amount of manicures done before: by professionals all around Europe and this was the most upsetting experience in my life. When I was getting my gel removed it took around an hour (should take 30 mins) I was then told that they could not remove this gel even though on the website they stated that they could remove gel During the removal my nails were getting damaged because the ‘nail tech’ kept picking on them and scraping them off hurting my nail bed (I did tell her it was painful yet this process continued) At the end of the ‘manicure’ I asked to clean the dust of my hands and the nail tech took a cotton pad, SOAKED it in acetone and rubbed it almost all over my hands Lastly, I still had to pay full price even though I did not get my full manicure experience Either get more experienced and careful employees or not bother doing manicures for such...
Read moreI had a lovely treatment called Inner Strength & Resilience. Nickie the therapist was great, professional yet friendly, also treated you as an individual and not just ‘another client’. However the treatment room (Lemongrass) was noisy, it’s in the basement so footsteps (quite loud and heavy) frequently heard from reception above, also lots of doors banging, which in turn each time rattled the door to the treatment room I was in. On top of that, bins being emptied outside the treatment room. The therapist apologised for the noise (I hadn’t mentioned it at this point), gave me a free sample, but tbh at £105 for the hour treatment not really much of a consolation. It’s a shame but I won’t be going back for a massage as I like to experience a tranquil environment, ok for manicures and pedicures (Lucy is excellent), but felt a bit ripped off by the the noisy massage which kind of ruined a...
Read moreI’ve been to tonic a few times and my nails have lasted okay. However, I got the Gel Bottle this time which I was told would last to 3 weeks. I got a chip after 10 days so I booked an appointment for removal and did tell the therapist then that it chipped. The response was ‘10 days isn’t bad for a chip’ and that was it. I then felt like she did a very rushed job and wanted to get me out as quickly as possible. I’m a bit disappointed as I felt I was brushed off, not even a ‘sorry to hear that’. You pay nearly £50 for gel nails and removal here (£38 to have them done and £10 for removal) so I’d hoped for a slightly better service if I’m honest. I’ve been to other nail bars that charge half the price and the nails have...
