Cotswold Head Spa — Local services in Cheltenham

I had an incredible experience here last week, all down to the lovely staff who made my treatment so smooth and special. I was particularly a little frazzled and late to my apt and was very apologetic, all the ladies there were very understanding and sympathetic and very welcoming and soothing and quickly made my visit calming. In particular my therapist Charlie was so lovely and made me feel at ease. I booked the 1hr spa treatment and she quickly got me started onto the scalp analysis and was very informative on the rest of the treatment. The actual head spa massage was amazing and I loved the scrubbing tools. I loved the environment and aesthetics of the room and the twinkly lights on the ceiling, though you do tend to close your eyes and I did opt for the heated eye mask which was a nice little addition at no extra cost. The shampoo smelt amazing!! I was surprised at the amount of products used but loved that my scalp and hair were being given so much attention and felt like this was excellent value for money. Even when it finished and I was guided to a seat at the dresser outside of the room, Charlie added serum to my hair and showed me the dramatically noticeable change in my scalp health! Before combing and wrapping my hair up into a clip and was very patient whilst she answered all the questions I had about the products and my experience, whilst I enjoyed a yummy strawberry tea! I thought the summer package they had of products was great value as well, and I already wanted to buy a head towel and head scrubber, so I was very happy to purchase the package with the hair oil and a clip as well. It really saddens me to leave this review as my first experience had been good one with CHS, however after trying to book treatments for 3 people and use vouchers I have had a very unpleasant experience. There is no phone number so I have had to send all enquiries via email which has had extremely slow responses, so slow the dates that were available had gone. On the website there is no opportunity to use more than one voucher even when booking for group sessions leading to long delays trying to contact someone to rectify this. Also having purchased the vouchers for the treatments earlier in the year the price have since risen and I was then expected to pay an extra £30 or loose £20 as there are no longer treatments for the price of the vouchers. When asked if they would honour the price of the vouchers I was met with no. After feeling extremely let down and not respected as a customer I asked for a refund as I did not feel it was appropriate to use the services, I was met with ‘we don’t give refunds.’ I will not be recommending this service and I hope they can improve there customer care and...

I was very un sure about going, as I have never heard of a “head spa” and I have been to a lot of spas in my life, so, I decided to give it a try. I booked the 90 min massage, and I do not regret it! It was the most magical massage, I feel like a new women. My therapist was so lovely and made me feel right at home as soon as I walked through the door. The beds were so so comfortable, I was very warm and cosy. I never knew I could feel so relaxed. I am going to recommend it to all my family and friends. The best 90 mins I could have asked for. The salon is small, which isn’t a problem but if I were to say one thing, I think all cliental should be asked to keep their voices to the lowest (which we are on email, but maybe need to be reminded when walking in to some people) because during my head massage I over heard talking and it woke me up and ruined the experience for a little while, however as soon as it was quite again, I drifted right back into calmness and total relaxation.
