Well, where do we begin… First and foremost you NEED to eat here. Myself and my fiancée travelled 4 hours (you read that right 😳) to eat here and it was worth every mile!!!
I can’t speak of what the deliveroo man gets up to on his bike, but eating in, whilst a small location was the BEST burger, meal and service I have received to date.
For context I have eaten in many places across the world with burger and fries being a particular favourite to try when the opportunity arises.
When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly team and placed our order right away (needless to say we had scanned the menu). To start 6 chicken tenders and mozzarella balls, to follow a chicken burger for my fiancée, which they accommodated for her intolerances, I opted for the “dirty messy burger” with two chicken burgers and one beef patty. We then went on to their cookie pie selection in the mystical cabinet of joy…
If you have never had a cookie pie you NEED this in your life if you enjoy sweet treats, and if you have had one then you need to get one from RS as they are 10/10 🔥 we picked up 9 cookie pie slices (some for the road) and then tucked into a white cream egg one whilst we waited.
Service was fast and the food was fresh, coming out piping hot and cooked to perfection. The mozzarella balls were beautifully melted with a crisp outer layer of beauty with the tenders the right balance of moist chicken with that delicious crunch that secured these along with the side of slightly sweet bbq sauce as the best tenders to date.
Just as the sides had been demolished out came the burgers, piping hot again and everything as per our order, well as you can see from the picture, my burger was a beautiful monster and packed with goodness, each bite delivered a multitude of flavours from the sources to the tender chicken with bites of the beef patty cutting though. Even with the size of this thing the burger bun stood the test of time and was there till the end. The last bite as delicious as the first, the only sad feeling in this place was when the food was gone.
Luckily a few chips survived the burger massacre till the end and were swiftly polished off with speed and precision. Delicious chips with a lovely bite and soft potato centre, could not be faulted.
The service really overdelivered and set this place even further past expectations, I would recommend this place again and again, we will be back and I am already recommending friends and clients to this place.
A gem of a business that needs to be supported for providing everything and more you want from a meal out.
Beyond 5 stars.
Thank you RS, we will...
Read moreOrdered the Korean loaded fries. The actual Korean chicken was ok and the Korean sauce was quite flavourful, although a bit sparse. That's the positive. The chips were very under cooked and soggy. To say that cooking chips is a basic skill is self evident. There was almost no Kimchi at all. I counted no more than 3 tiny pieces of cabbage. The cheese sauce was horrendous and only made the soggy chips even soggier. The pickles were just ok and the cucumber salsa mentioned in the menu seemed to be on its day off. Once the chicken was gone it was all very much downhill from there. For £10 I expected a lot more. Very disappointed. Maybe I should have had a burger as I've been told they're pretty good but not the dish I ordered. I've tried to be objective here but I've wasted my money and that's left a very sour taste in my mouth and it wasn't the kimchi....
Read moreImprovised to grab some food while in town and the amazing smell across Church Lane led me here. Went for a brisket beef burger which most certainly exceeded my expectations. Without any exaggeration, the best burger I’ve come across in my life. The brisket was very tender, the burger was put together really well and all of the ingredients used worked together so harmoniously. Will be coming back for sure....
