Doggy Day Care Burton — Local services in East Staffordshire

I wrote the review below several years ago and I can honestly say Bailey still loves Doggy daycare, the team at burton doggy day care love what they do and it reflects in care and affection the dogs get whilst they are there.

Before we considered having a puppy I did my research on what options we had whilst we are at work. I contacted Burton doggy day care and they gave me confidence we could find the balance of having a puppy and working. Our dog absolutely loves going there. Like taking your kid to school I thought he might not want to leave me and would want me to stay. The complete opposite when he gets there he doesn’t look back and gets excited to go. It has taught him doggy social skills and he comes back completely shattered from playing with his doggy friends :-) The team sends update videos, feed him when needed and are open from 7am which is great to drop him off before work. Each time we drop Mavis off at DDC, she runs straight in, tail wagging and shaking with excitement - what better testimonial to DDC could there be! When we first contacted Jack 3 years ago to enquire about DDC we were impressed by the time he took to get to know about Mavis - her background (welfare rescue), her current needs and limitations. This was so different from the cursory remarks of other day care providers. Since then Jack, James and their staff have followed through and have been amazing. It has been great to see Mavis gaining trust, learning social skills whilst having fun. I started taking my 18month old Frenchie here after an attack which left her frightened of other dogs. She absoloutely loves it, everytime we pull up she scratches to get out the car and go in. It’s very spacious, all staff are so nice and helpful. I get video and photo updates all day via WhatsApp- she’s either running them all ragged or having cuddles on the sofa. The day package includes a nice long walk mid day so I can pick her up after work and she’s ready to chill. I no longer feel guilty going to work and leaving here alone because I have these guys to rely on🙌🏻 Ivy now also plays with other dogs and is no longer frightened which is a massive bonus.
