Myself and my husband visited your Claypot Lounge for the first time 16/2/23….. we hadn’t booked a table, we just had a spontaneous night out, as we had reason to celebrate. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was busy as they do a special offer on Thursdays and Sundays, the food was the best I’ve ever tasted for a curry house, plates, bowls were hot and the food stayed hot, portions were generous, with lovely tender meat and very tasty rice. Nice ambiance, spotlessly clean, really professional and attentive staff. Chicken tikka starter was delicious. Main course went downhill. Chicken Tawra tasted good apart from rock hard frozen baby carrots in the sizzling dish which was swimming in grease or ghee. Lamb dish and also Aloo Gobi side contained undercooked potatoes and a quarter of an inch of oil floating on the top...... Nice touch of a complimentary brandy with the bill. Would only return if chef lays...

Myself and several colleagues visited Claypot Lounge yesterday evening. This was the first visit here by most of us but we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had a good selection of dishes between us and all was cooked to perfection… full of flavour, the meat was tender, good portions, well presented with great service throughout.

If you are looking for a good Indian in Burton then I would highly recommend...
