Am disgusted my 14 year old daughter turned up here today with her three friends but unfortunately my daughterwas was has allergies so can’t eat it but obviously wanted to sit with her friends. The owner allowed three girls to pay for their food and then told my daughter as she was not eating. She had to go and sit outside on her own until they had finished their meal as she was not allowed to stay in the restaurant because she was not eating, then told her to leave. My daughter rang me clearly upset. I’ve been left in the middle of town by herself. I hope that the owner does not have children himself because unfortunately in this day and age and Our City. There is a lot. Of not very nice people hanging around the town centre so for him to make my daughter be vulnerable in a city centre on her own I think is appalling it is not her fault she can’t eat his food I think his manner was totally unacceptable to a child my husband and I was in town and went to see him and was told it’s company policy if your not eating you can’t come In he apologised to my daughter but her day with her friends had been spoilt shame on you , no professionalism , no compassion to a child , totally disgusting 🤮 I am glad all humans are not so heartless as what world...

Word of advice simply don't bother even dining.

I recently visited The Real China restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. To start off, the atmosphere was quite unpleasant as the capacity management was poor and it felt like we were sitting on top of each other. It was hard to enjoy our meal when we were so cramped and uncomfortable.

However, the worst part of my experience was discovering hair in my Salt and Pepper Chicken dish. When I brought this to the attention of who I presume was the manager, their response was completely unacceptable. They simply said "It's not meant to be like that, but it sometimes is" as if finding hair in food is a common occurrence at their restaurant. This was not only unprofessional but also quite concerning from a food hygiene perspective.

After this incident, I was completely put off eating and didn't feel comfortable with the quality of the food being served. Overall, my experience at The Real China was very negative and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is important for restaurants to take food hygiene seriously and not dismiss such incidents as common or trivial, this issue is being reported to Food Hygeine, and I am completely...

First of all the food wasn't too bad at all for the price. There is a good choice and there are even plenty of desserts. The staff are terrible. Really slow, really lazy, really looked as if they couldn't be bothered at all. Being told to wait outside of a restaurant to be seated got my back up straight away staff don't bother to check anyone is waiting. Then having to pay for food in a restaurant before you've actually got It just screams ghetto to me. Before we were even seated were being asked what drinks we want and to pay upfront. For this reason alone I wouldn't go back. The Asian lady there looked like she couldn't be bothered to lift a finger and concentrated more of her time doing nothing behind the bar rather than attending to the queue getting bigger by the minute outside. The tables are far to close together and the aisles to get the the buffet are very narrow meaning too many people invading your space while youre trying to eat. Overall a negative experience and won't be going back. With the amount of food outlets on offer they seriously need to...

All you can eat buffet in the Food Court St Stephen's Hull. I enjoyed eating here, staff very friendly and helpful. Only dropped one star as I'm a vegetarian and there was no protein, other than the egg in the egg fried rice and nothing was labelled. When I arrived, the staff allowed me to look at what was on offer and pointed put the vegetarian dishes. I didn't think to ask if they'd got a menu board similar to the one at the front, I assume they have a file for allergies etc??? Accessibility: Good, lifts ( located St Stephens main entrance) and escalators. Level front entrance. Car Parking: Pay and display round the back, free voucher if you shop at Tesco's. On arrival: Wait to be greeted, then pay for your meal and drink at the bar, then your seated. I went at lunchtime. Food: I enjoyed my selection, onion rings were soft. Pudding was limited but nice, tinned fruit (peaches and pears), fresh melon (but part if the white rind was in each chunk). There was also cake and icecream that I did not try). Toilets: Yes and in the main Mall (disabled)

The Real China is located on the first floor of St. Stephens Shopping centre in Hull city centre which has plenty of cheap parking. Access by stairs or a lift. Staff were very welcoming, well presented and polite. The venue is a cosy place that was clean. The food was exceptional although there was one of the chicken selections that was a bit tougher to get through. Pricing was very fair as shown in the attached image. Not as many choices as some other all you can eat Chinese restaurants. If your still hungry, leave your plate on your assigned table and get a fresh clean plate to load up again. By the time you get back your previous place will of been taken away. There was a small choice of deserts, which were very nice. Sitting at the next table to another customer, I told by them the night time choice has more to choose from. As you will notice from the image the night time sitting costs a little more. Well worth the visit and money 9/10 rating from me
