Clarendon Pub House — Restaurant in England

What a great pub, it's a traditional pub with everything done nice. It's got one side for quite background 60 and 70s music. With a fantastic Take away / restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious. Deco style is smart and intresting. The other side of the pub, has a good modern jukebox, good pool table and DJ area. Looking forward to the return of the music proformers. Great selection of excellent beers and spirits. Great Sunday lunch. It even has a modest but nice beer garden. Air conditioning system and toilets are fully functional. Well this is an odd but brilliant concept. It's a pub that doesn't sell food apart from Sunday roasts (pre-book) that are fantastic but has a GREEK takeout built in. So wife and I gave it a shot, we were the only two eating so it took a bit of time but it was so well worth it. Fantastic gyros and chicken kebab. There was plenty of it, roasting hot, plenty of chips and salad plus some nice sauces. It wasn't expensive for the quality and quantity. Helpful friendly staff, opened up the disabled access so we could get our double pram through the door, we had the large fish and chips for £7.95 each, the fish portions are BIG🙂 included mushy peas, bread+butter and tea or coffee, the BEST fish we have tasted! Fresh, with thin crispy batter. We'll be going again 👍.
