I took a day off work and traveled 2 hours and 30 minutes for a property viewing that Churchill rigidly scheduled for a Monday morning - an inconvenient time for anyone with a full-time job. Despite being told that the next step would be receiving an application form, almost two weeks now, and I have yet to receive it. Worse still, my follow-up email inquiring about it has been ignored.

The viewing itself lasted less than five minutes - I know because I arrived 10 minutes early and was finished before my scheduled time even began. Given how brief it was, a video viewing would have been entirely feasible. This makes me wonder if in-person viewings are insisted upon so that potential tenants can be judged based on appearance before being considered for the property.

Unfortunately, the experience felt prejudiced. Katie, who conducted the viewing, barely acknowledged my presence when I initially walked it - I greeted her so friendly but was ignored until she was ready for me.

Absolutely fantastic Estate Agents. We went through them first with a sale we had to walk away from and they were always professional and reasonable, completely understanding our perspective and we never felt under any pressure. We then successfully bought our house through them and couldn’t be happier with the service received. We have found other Estate Agents in York at times dishonest and often far too much on the side of the vendor as opposed to the Churchill approach which seems to be a genuine and fair intermediary, keeping everything calm and smooth. We have instantly trusted everyone we dealt with at Churchills. At all viewings we were shown round by Abi who was very personable, professional and knowledgeable.
