They used to have a shop on the harbour front - this was Fudge Kyst (apparently 'Kyst' means Box in Cornish). They now have the one shop on Fore St (which used to be called Fudge Box - now has the original name Fudge Kyst).
I have bought fudge from here on every holiday to St Ives since I was a kid. I have distinct memories of visiting the harbour front shop and the lovely lady there cutting the fudge for us (still don't know her name!). Always so pleasant. My parents recently visited St Ives and brought me some of this amazing fudge (peppermint, orange, vanilla).
This is a local business that has been around for years. They hand make their fudge and not only is the fudge amazing and unique, I feel it is so important to support local businesses like Fudge Kyst. There are so many generic fudge shops (and other highly commercialised shops) popping up in St Ives. Please support this lovely place - for its amazing fudge - and keep local businesses...

Sadly this year, I found the Bailey's fudge covered in white chocolate, to not taste remotely like Bailey's, and it was very gloopy inside, like condensed milk! Just tried a cherry one that I bought for home, and it was so sweet and sickly I had to throw it away.
