REVIEW Aug 2024. Visited this evening food arrived within 5 mins which was perfect. All of the below still apply. Toilets were horrid, very pub like with some people shouting at the Olympics which is being show. Probably wouldn't return here if I'm honest but needed a quick dinner as others had an hour wait for food. REVIEW JULY 2023 **Visited tonight for dinner with my son 5 and husband. It was one of the few places that didn't have over an hour wait. There is a large steep set of steps to get inside, but the views are stunning. We were told it would be around a 20-minute wait, but we were seated before we even ordered a drink at the bar! Result. Most seats are by the window with a few in the middle. Also, most of the seats are high stools, which isn't the best with children or anyone with a bad back lol. The kids' menu is tiny with only 3 things to choose from. Chicken, burger, or fish. The chicken is breaded, so my son enjoyed it. A fruit shot will set you back £2.50! Omg, and a large coke £5! Menu is very small indeed but means they can get the food out quickly They had us in and out within an hour with a 10% service charge added to the bill. The food was nice enough but it was very rushed, and loud inside. Everything seemed frantic, and the food was average. Dirty Fries are dead easy to make. I'm not sure we would return, tbh as there is so much better on offer close by. Getting some colouring sheets and crayons and a better kids menu.

Balcony has handled the current pandemic brilliantly. You can order and pay online via the website that works well but make sure you have good 4G coverage. Social Distancing was adhered to and made us feel comfortable. The balcony breakfast was described by my father as one of the best breakfasts he's ever had. The Mexican tacos are messy but the runny yolk, creamy Avocado and tangy pickled onions work so well together. A real treat maybe needed a little spice as totally mild. The salmon and Avocado stack was full of flavour, every mouthful, described by my partner, as delicious, there was so much Topping you could argue it needed another slice of toast! The milkshake is a desired treat and the perfectly sized iced coffees put Starbucks to shame. The flat white was the first since lockdown that my father had, he was very happy with one of the best flat Whites he has had.

I visited twice in 2 days! I went on my first solo holiday and I was so nervous about going out for food on my own . 1. The price and 2. If people would judge me. Wow . The food was unreal the seafood…. No words! It’s really rare to find somewhere that sells amazing seafood for such a good price. I had salt and pepper squid and garlic prawns these are huge plates btw! And a large coke and a Mango daiquiri and it only came to 27pounds. I was more than full and I felt so safe and content. The views are unreal too! And the bar staff and waitresses/waiters are all so lovely and welcoming. These are the places that makes your first holiday on your own so memorable🥰thank you!

Had breakfast and dinner here! Stunning views (the best from any cafe/restaurant in St Ives I think!) and delicious food. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of gluten free options! Their pancake recipe is made gluten free for everyone and the chicken burger I had for dinner had a gluten free option. None of the crumbly dry gluten free food here! Best pancakes I’ve ever had! There’s an open window into the kitchen where you can speak to the chefs and all the staff were very helpful so (although I’m only intolerant and not coeliac) I would recommend phoning or chatting to the chefs because it might just be the safe place you’ve been looking for!

I was treated to a wonderful meal here to celebrate my birthday. From the photo you can see that the views from the restaurant are exceptional, causing me to step away from my food, here and there, to capture the stunning vista of St Michael's Mount. The food was very good, but sadly the staff managed to botch my meal twice, giving me foods I said I couldn't eat. So embarrassed was the manager that I was given another meal free of charge. This didn't spoil the occasion, these things can happen in any establishment, and the way it was handled was faultless. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

Popped in to have a coffee and take a break from the lovely British weather. Great coffee and atmosphere with a fantastic sea view. Lots of food options include breakfast, children's meals and vegetarian or vegan dishes. They also do a Sunday roast on Sundays.
