We used to go here years ago before we had kids and really enjoyed it. Saw recent reviews about it being unkept, but it was always a bit rough and ready and we liked it. Checked Google, as we'd already arrived to go karting and found that closed, and Google said open till 8pm. Arrived at 4:30pm, in the summer holidays, and he was just locking the gates! Asked if he was closing up and without turning to speak to us just replied with a "yep" and that was it. I said Google says it's open till 8 and he didn't even bother to respond. If he's closing early because he's got no customers I'm not surprised! If you're that unreliable then how do you expect to run a successful business? Very disappointed children, and me...
Read moreTerrible, myself and 11 year old paid and tee'd off. My 4 year old was with us and carrying what I would describe as a baby golf club!! On the 2nd hole I was approached by what I believe was the owner.. I explained my 4yr old wasn't playing and just walking round with us. He insisted I paid for him or leave. I again explained he wasn't playing so the owner then told us to leave. He did offer a refund in a very aggressive manner, I explained keep it if its that important to him. He then put the money in his pocket.

Yes, there has been a drought but there was no obvious sign of the greens having been watered. A rude greenkeeper demanded that my daughter tee-off from the matt, despite the rubber tee being broken - then aggressively “offered” us a refund if we refused.
