Jurassic Rocks Cafe — Restaurant in England

The hot rock night is the best thing I've done in Weymouth recently. The courses are amazingly presented, promptly too. The starter was a generous portion of pate, not the spoonful you'd usually get at a restaurant. The fillet steak was so juicy, and cooking it yourself is something really fun and different too. The cheeseboard usually comes with sides, but upon request, I was served only cheese and crackers. All the cheeses were tasty, and all had character. The restaurant is a seaside cafe in the day, so do expect the stereotypical plastic tablecloth and sauce caddy, but it still is amazing. A hidden gem with a view to dream of and an atmosphere of calm to carry with you for the rest of the day. I highly encourage a visit here of a fresh morning or after a beach dip. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was hot, well made and not too greasy which is impressive considering the menu!! Brilliant prices for the kind of food provided. The beautiful views were to die for and while our hotel stay (premier inn) left a lot to be desired and we will be staying elsewhere on the coast for our summer visit, we will be making the journey along the beach to visit this delightful café nonetheless. Had a warm welcome and enjoyed a cup of tea. We could bring our dog in which is why we opted for this cafe in the pouring rain. The server/chef obviously likes dogs and gave ours a fuss. Unfortunately this cafe ended up ruining our visit to Weymouth. We decided to stay for lunch.
