It was well decorated for the most part, lots of time and thought put into the menu, bar, wall hangings and staff training (which was top-notch! Very professional, friendly and helpful). I've given location full stars as it's easy to get to and close enough to town to walk in. Their were definitely signs of age here and there showing mainly in spots of rust, the crack down the shower tray (worried about bacteria), the shower nozzle and the frayed bedroom curtain (looked like the sheer section had been eaten 😄). The reason I gave only 3 stars for rooms is mainly because of the mould we found in the kettle, lack of a view from the window (probably just unlucky but we could see a tin roof and the window of the room opposite us) and the linen (didn't quite smell fresh). Positives: the mattress was super comfy, their were biscuits laid out with the tea and coffee, was a hair dryer and Bible, and the headboard on the bed was very comfy. There was also a nice dressing table and a TV. I hated the toilet paper (very nice and recyclable but this meant it was also brown, thin and smelt funny). The bathroom had handsoap, body/hair soap and towels. Alsomworth mentioning how stiff and tall the pillow was and how spacious and clean the communal bathrooms on the reception floor were. The bedrooms were nice and quiet, though the bar and lounge certainly were not (but that's not surprising really considering how busy they were!) Pool looked good, smelt strongly of chlorine. I was very impressed with the staff and I think they would be what would persuade me to to come again.

Cute hotel with amazing breakfast. Room was nice clean. Bed was small but comfy... needed to ask for an extra pillow as it was a bit flat. Room was very small but had everything I needed. Window had a ripped net curtain... but I think that is really minor details. Window were really small... but lucky for me it wasn't hot so didn't really need to use them. Unfortunately during my stay there was construction works going on right by my window... so could not sleep past 7am... loud jackhammer and trucks all the time. Parking is VERY tight. Spaces seem overly narrow and barely get cars able to drive in and out... suggest herring-bone diagonal parking to get more sensible parking entry with a 'one-way' system to ensure access is good. Staff were very friendly, especially the breakfast waiting staff. Always happy to help and make life easier. Genuinely great selection for breakfast, even hot oats... loved it. The coffee machine flavour is ace! Highly recommend for families, couples or professionals travelling for work. Have a really cute pool leisure facility. Walking distance to the beach and loads of restaurants close by to choose from. Rates very reasonable... but then again, travelling in peak times will be expensive no matter where you go. Will definitely use again when in Weymouth.

A Fantastic Stay at Best Western Hotel Rembrandt in Weymouth - 5-10 min walk from the beach. My recent stay at the Best Western Hotel Rembrandt in Weymouth was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel’s facilities are top-notch. We took full advantage of the sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool, all of which were clean, well-maintained, and provided the perfect environment for relaxation. After a day of exploring the beautiful Dorset coastline, unwinding in these facilities was exactly what we needed. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was another highlight of our stay. The meals were outstanding, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. The service we received from Georgina and William was exemplary—they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Overall, the Best Western Hotel Rembrandt in Weymouth provided us with a fantastic getaway, combining excellent facilities, wonderful dining, and impeccable service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Weymouth.

I recently stayed at Best Western Rembrandt from September 30th- October 2nd, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.

Upon arrival, the staff was kind and I noticed that the hotel and room was super outdated but because it was clean, I did not make a fuss. However, when it came to the room, it smelt damp and was incredibly humid. We left the windows open regularly and it was still hot. The hotel provides you with a desk fan the size of my hand that is meant to air out the room but did the opposite. Additionally, the fan was noisy when in use. There is also no safe box for your personal items so please be aware of that as it’s not ideal for most people who want to protect their belongings.

Besides the boiling rooms, the two nights that we stayed, every morning we were woken up abruptly from the fire alarms going off for no reason. Both alarms went off before 9am after a sleepless night from the heat and uncomfortable bedding. When we mentioned the alarms to the staff, they just told us that it was an ongoing issue they are experiencing.

While the location was convenient, I booked this hotel solely on the intention of being able to use its amenities which includes Pool//Hot tub and disappointingly this was not included. We had many wonderful options for hotels nearby but spent the extra 100$ to use the pool for a more pleasing stay and we were told that just because we purchased our stay through Expedia , we were not entitled to use the spa and would have to pay to use it. I found this frustrating as when booking, this appears as intentionally hidden because it shows the pool included until you read the small fine print on the website that states “charges may apply”, we knew the breakfast was not included because it gave us the option to add it in our booking but nothing on the pool and leisure activities. We then went on and purchased it because the principle of spending extra money on this hotel to use it and the jacuzzi was broken meaning that the Hot tub was actually cooler and the jets were not all working.

Finally, when leaving we requested a late checkout due to not getting enough sleep once again and the fire alarm going off at 7:58am, the front desk informed us that it would be an extra 10ÂŁ for just one hour. This tells me this hotel is full of hidden costs that just drives me away from ever coming back. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone incase they want to be robbed of money and sleep.

I hope my experience and feedback helps other guests and the hotel...

I have used this hotel three times now. First the good points, the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and modern. The location is not bad although it could be in a more scenic setting.|However, I feel it is over priced for what I get and wish there was another hotel group in Weymouth such as Mercure or Accor. I wanted to book direct and they say they will match the price on other sites but when you try to call them you often get the USA who are totally ineffectual and matching the price. This time there was a large difference so had to use booking.com despite being a member of Best Western's club. If you don't book direct with them then they charge you extra to use the small spa and pool. They also do not provide bath robes to get between the spa and your room end expect you to change from your street clothes in a changing room not unlike a public swimming pool. |In the past I have had upstairs rooms with a lift along straight wide corridor but this time it was like being in one of those UK hotels that are all tiny stairs and twists and turns and we were upstairs with no lift in a much smaller room that had one small window looking into a small square area in the middle of the building. We could hear other people talking in their rooms late at night and had to shut the window (no air conditioning either !). The room was clean and the bathroom was recently refurbished. |The car parking in the front is not easy if you have an estate car, not enough distance to reverse into and out of spaces so I went to the back and park but in the morning there were tradesmen's vans all over the place in the spaces and people having trouble getting out indeed one family could not go until I went and I had a real job getting our because next to me was a huge pick up and opposite it a transit van. If the space the other side had not been empty I would have been stuck. |Best Western do not seem to care, they just say "this is how it is" despite me being a repeat customer. Even with the...

Came for a nice Sunday swim and Sunday roast. The customer service was nonexistent. The managers were rude and dismissive. The food was awful. I don’t know what was wrong this Sunday with the staff- maybe they went out on Saturday? But wow, I’ve not had such bad customer service from a restaurant in a long time. ‘Hi can I help you? Would be a great start to a change in service. Blimey. I’m just shocked. I stood infront or one of the managers waiting to talk to them, patiently and when he had served the 3rd other person- i mentioned that I was waiting and I had been ignored and he got defensive because ‘ I was just standing there’ he hadn’t looked up once to see if I was being helped or needed anything and said ‘ we’ll how was I supposed to know’ 😂 what??!

Also my mother is disabled and the ‘disabled changing room is a joke. I don’t think you can legally class them as that as not even a small standard size chair fits through the door. Supposedly this has been bought up as a complaint before. The handles are also loose and very unsafe for an older disabled woman to use, my mum almost fell twice from them being ‘woobely’ as we were warned by staff.

I don’t ever leave negative reviews but this really took the cake. I’ve been in customer service for years; I understand the pressure and low wages and stress but - if you don’t like your job that’s no reason to be rude to customers.

Note: I can’t speak for the reception or hotel staff but the restaurant gets a 0 out 10. I was also totally ignored by the chef while I was waiting in line - he Just ignored us and served the people behind us! I don’t know the reason for any of this were a very polite a curteous family but I don’t think I’ll ever go back for the food ever. The Yorkshire puddings were also burnt and dry and the manager wanted to argue with me that they weren’t and said I was lying 😂 I told him to try one for himself. I imagine my Birkenstock sandals taste...
