If I wanted the texture of a shoe I'd have went to a cobbler.

I got the food and from the smell I could tell it wouldn't be delicious, but that's fine.

I got two sets of "Bamboo shoots and water chestnuts", for the price it was a pretty decent portion, but something about it tasted a little off, but it was decent.

I also got the "salt and pepper munchy box B". This was disgraceful, there is absolutely no colour to it, it's all grey. The chips were fine but went to that left over takeaway texture within 10 minutes. And all the other things in it are disgusting. I'm not the kind of person to throw away food, and I could eat for England, but this was disgusting. Not only was the batter to meat ratio horrific, which you could say is just my taste, but the flavours were awful. It tasted like yesterday's unsold leftovers. I've barely touched it, it was absolutely disgusting. These bits of meat were also very hard. I have banged some on the bedside table and it sounded like a little mallet.

I've also read some reviews talking about food poisoning, I don't believe I have food poisoning, but after I had some I did have to rush to the toilet. Something about it had upset my stomach a little too, but I would like to stress, I do not have food poisoning.

With this box, you get a tub of curry. The flavour was fine, nothing special. When I received it it went jelly like very quickly, in the tub. I mixed it with a chip and it became kinda thick instead. It helped the texture of the food, but by no means did it save it.

Overall, I wouldn't eat here again, I wish I had ordered anything else. I really fancied a Chinese, I thought I'd try these guys out, and I was disheartened that this is the Chinese I got. Go anywhere...

Not sure if they’ve changed management or suppliers but was not happy with our takeaway last night. We’ve been ordering from here for 3-4 years and have had the odd hiccup but never any major problems.

The food showed up a little late which wasn’t a problem as we’ve ordered many times before. We then find out that the food had gone up in price so had to scramble around trying to find more money. When we dished the food out the chips were cold and had barely and in the bag, our Duck Chow Mein had barely any Duck and the bits it did have were extremely dry! Now to the big problem, we ordered Pork batter balls and when cutting into them discovered not Pork but…….. Shrimp!! Not sure how you get the 2 confused and also, it’s a good job myself and my husband don’t have any allergies to seafood! Unfortunately, by the time we discovered it, it was gone 9pm and had been waiting so long already that we didn’t bother to call back and we had a toddler in bed so didn’t want to wake them up by someone knocking on the door. The curry and sweet & sour sauce tasted odd and we ended up not even eating a lot of it and just ate the prawn crackers to fill us up! Cut to being up quite a bit during the night with an upset stomach and feeling generally terrible this morning.

Unfortunately we will not be ordering from here again which is a shame as we classed this as one of the best...

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Food Poisoning Incident

I am writing to raise a formal complaint concerning a meal I ordered via Uber Eats from your establishment on the evening of Monday 7th April 2025.

Following the consumption of this meal, I experienced severe symptoms of food poisoning, which required me to seek medical attention. The onset of illness occurred shortly after eating, and I am confident that the food I received from your premises was the source.

I would appreciate a prompt response regarding this matter, including any relevant information you can provide about food handling and preparation procedures at the time of my order. I believe it is only fair to offer you an opportunity to respond before I escalate this issue to the Food Standards Agency.

For your information, I have retained a portion of the food in question as well as a sample of vomit, both of which are available for analysis if necessary.
