Booked for a birthday party with 10 children at 11:30. We were all left stood around for 20 minutes filling in paperwork for the ninja tag and food choices. We then asked if we could go set up in the party room only to be told they don’t have a party room despite this being advertised (with pictures), after my partner speaking to the manager we were led to the party room at 12pm.

Kids absolutely loved the ninja tag! Had to go and ask when they would start the bowling as they were bored waiting around. Eventually got them up to the bowling lanes around 12:30!

Asked several times when the food would be brought out and was told it wouldn’t be long. Fire alarm went off and the staff didn’t react or direct customers out or follow any fire procedures. They all just stood around chatting or looking lost! Half the customers went to stand outside until the situation was sorted. After that we asked again how long the food would be as it was 1:30. Food eventually arrived at 1:45 and the children had to eat at the lanes. The chicken nuggets were burnt and solid around the edges, we were also missing 2 meals!

The children had to eat very quickly as the manager came to tell us that we had to leave by 2pm as they had another party booked for the party room, even though we were told at the start they didn’t have a room!

By the time the kids had finished bowling and rushed through their meals we didn’t have time to do the birthday cake so we just sang happy birthday and left. My partner told the manager we were missing food for 2 kids and offered us 2 Tango ice blasts to make up for it. Luckily it was my 2 older children who missed out on food and could wait for a meal but a cup of ice and syrup hardly fills a belly.

Staff need some serious training on fire procedures! Having spent almost £200 on this party I am beyond disappointed with the day.

I've never done a bad review yet but I have to address these matters ASAP!

I am disgusted after getting food poisoning from a childrens birthday event attended at this venue just yesterday.

The worst part is I didn't even eat a lot of the barely edible food provided!! The severity is they obviously don't have adequate training to cook some hotdogs and chicken nuggets for toddlers! They're being reported to the health board as I speak, as I saw that the vicinity didn't even offer enough sanitation for all they're devices.

I am outraged aswel as disappointed mostly due to the fact I'm from the area and have never got food poisoning from any food place so ofc it's horrible, As for the customer service that was mostly teenagers which is expected at any bowling venue. But I advise the manager to hire more age appropriate adults to his premises.

The machines are ok I would guess abit faulty at times and really expensive for what you can get this modern day an age. Venue needs updating for sure! It felt like I was back in the 80's with the design.

I advise you scrap the bar area and turn it into a food seating area( if you can address this food issue !!outbrake!! as no one is ever there to serve anyone.

Absolutely gutted and disgusted to know they've infected 7 young children an 3 adults with a couple of chicken nuggets. Says enough.

Well i definitely don’t think it’s worthy of the five star but the only way to be entered into the prize draw was to leave a 5* review 🤭 here we go if your expecting fast service you’ll be disappointed, if your visiting the soft play you definitely won’t be disappointed as it’s clean and safe.there are lots of table and chairs and you can see your children in the play area which is great, however if your not build of steel you’ll be unable to pull the entrance gate open to gain access and enter though the exit gate for convenience of the staff. If you want a coffee great but a cold drink they have to walk to the other bar to bring it to you. While other inpatient customers try and get their attention. They are amazing at shouting ‘be with you in 2 mins ‘ like I don’t have a child clearly during of thirst and can’t wait another second of you know you know ! The toilets !! Omg I’m not sure what’s gone on there they are dirty smelly and I’m sure the last lot of children in there were set free with the gloss and paint (definitely haven’t been taught to stay in the lines ) overall I think they caused more stress. I probably will go back as there’s not a lot to do in the rain and they have priced accordingly having to pay full price for my under 2 🤗 thank you for asking me to write a 5⭐️ review for a chance to win family bowling pass i truly can’t wait to try...
