I politely asked if I could go inside with my laptop to use the WiFi and finish my university essay. This was shortly after they opened, and the building was empty. They agreed, but then they kept harassing me, making it difficult for me to concentrate on my work. They approached my table every ten to fifteen minutes, insisting that I needed to order a drink or I would be kicked out.
I understand that I need to buy something to use their WiFi, which is fair, but requiring me to make a purchase that frequently is unreasonable—especially since they wouldn’t leave me alone long enough to even finish my drink. They wouldn't allow me to order food or snacks to make it more affordable; they insisted that I had to buy alcohol to stay. The staff was very rude to me, giving me dirty looks from the bar when they weren’t coming over to pressure me.
Eventually, I had enough and left because I felt coerced into spending far too much money in such a short amount of time while being rushed about my drinks. I certainly didn’t want to get drunk while trying to complete a four-thousand-word essay on a Sunday morning. I probably spent enough there to cover their WiFi bill for two months, yet the staff couldn't even treat me with basic courtesy. I had never felt so uncomfortable and pressured in...
Read moreWorst dinner service ever. Peppermint Swansea embarrassed themselves with appalling service. We turned up early Sunday evening, the place was almost empty, just one other table. Our server took our order, all was going well so we started to wait for our food. Forty-five minutes later, we asked what was taking so long. Our new server apologised and mentioned a shift change. He came back ten minutes later to tell us chef has began plating up our food and offered us free drinks. So we waited another ten minutes or more, still nothing but an offer of 25%discount from the manager, but not actually made in person. The duty manager at the time, gave a side glance at our table and walked away. The place was empty, his staff had completely messed up a simple food order and his customers were becoming really frustrated but he couldn't afford to show professional courtesy and come over to apologise in person. He was apparently at the end of his shift. Another ten minutes later, our burgers and chips turned up completely cold. Just as we were thinking of complaining, our nachos turned up burned to crisp with a new manager who actually couldn't even offer an excuse as we left, food uneaten and...

My friend get a delivery order to that restaurant tonight, while arrive and the staff told him that it need to wait a long time as the kitchen is very busy and still not cook. So my friend ask it need to wait how long to finish, he said about 15-20 min. My friend told him that he can wait and ask him to tell the kitchen start doing the order. But he said "No", my friend ask "Why" He said you need to cancel the order as there has a few drivers come before and they also cancel the orders, as it is busy and kitchen cannot do your order, you should cancel it. If they cannot do it why they take the orders, and why to tell drivers need to wait 15-20 min. When the driver confirm to wait then said they will not done so and tell driver should cancel the order. How bed services are they would tell anyone not to...
