Where to begin! We rang last minute and they luckily had an appointment space for me! Jess welcomed us with a beaming smile, put me at ease and said that they would find me my perfect Mother of the Bride dress and not to worry! Jenny served us (my daughter came with me) and was absolutely AMAZING. Nothing was too much trouble, brought me different dresses to try on and then hung them back up for me. She really gave her honest opinion each time, there really was so much choice. I put on one dress that was beautiful and felt amazing and no alterations were needed. So bought the dress, left the shop, got back to the car and looked back at the pictures... and wondered if I'd made the right decision between this and another dress! We went back, Jenny opened the shop back up for us, let me take time to try both dresses on so I made the right decision (all in her own time). I decided to keep the one I'd bought, but I am ever so grateful that I was able to go back and check I'd made the right decision. Thank you so much for helping my mum to select a mother of the groom outfit. Not having worn a dress for over 30 years, she was very apprehensive about going into a shop and trying on dresses. Alison could not have provided a better experience. She was knowledgeable and recommended styles which would suit plus size. Also recommended dresses for my mum’s height. We went into the shop and Alison pulled a few styles and colours out to try, and was so patient and attentive while we went through the different ones. Mum found the perfect dress and was practically dancing around the room in it by the end. Thank you also for providing a selection of matching accessories, as that meant we could get most things sorted in one visit. We visited Out of Town in July to purchase my mum’s Mother of the Bride outfit. The shop had come highly recommended so we were looking forward to our visit. We were not disappointed. From the start, Fiona and Jeni made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Fiona’s approach during our appointment was friendly, and she took the time to find out about my wedding and the type of outfit that my mum was looking for. She gave great advice on the outfits. In the end mum chose the last dress she tried on, which was a fabulous “wild card” selected by Fiona. Fiona also found the perfect hat to match, and arranged for it to be ordered in.
