Popped into Seasalt Cornwall in Windsor recently with a friend on the hunt for a new dress and honestly, we both left feeling like we’d just stepped off a breezy Cornish cliff walk and into a boutique full of easy-going charm and coastal chic.

The store is light, airy, and thoughtfully laid out no rail rage here, just beautifully made clothes in soft, wearable fabrics, all hanging politely like well-behaved passengers in Club World. There’s a real sense of calm, and everything from the striped tops to the linen dresses feels refreshingly un-flashy but beautifully finished much like a good First Class service: understated, but spot on.

Staff were the real stars of the show warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to help. No hard sell, no hovering. Just good advice, a helpful eye for fit and colour, and the sort of relaxed, down-to-earth service that makes shopping feel like a treat, not a task. They even humoured our indecisiveness with a smile and let’s be honest, trying on dresses with a friend involves more consultation than a safety briefing.

My friend found a gorgeous cotton dress classic, flattering, and practical enough for a sunny lunch or a summer garden party (possibly even the flower show, dare I say?). We both agreed: it’s nice to find clothes that are stylish and comfortable, without any need for ‘fashion turbulence’.

Wonderful colourful clothing which is evident from the shop windows and throughout. The clothes are made to good quality and traditional style that eclipses Fat Face !
