I visited the Windsor store with my partner and daughter this evening. After being seated and waiting 15 mins without any contact my partner went to the back of the restaurant. He queried why there was arguing between staff going on yet no one has approached us to take our drinks and food order. It was fairly quiet and there was a commotion going on between staff. Then a tall south Asian boy with floppy hair spoke in such a rude manner to my partner.He squared up to him and challenged him. He was aggressive and rude. My partner then asked for the manager who was there and stated he was the manager. My partner asked if he had heard how he had been spoken to. He did nothing to rectify the staffs attitude or make any apology to us. We stated we were leaving and the manager clearly had no care for us as customers but also had no control over his staff. It was the most disgusting treatment we had ever encountered. We are residents of Windsor and have lived here for over 30 years and as a 60 year old man to be spoken to in that manner was awful. He was upset all evening about the way he was spoken to. I suggest your management and staff have more care for customers and have the decency to try to apologise and deal with things that occur in the restaurant in a professional way. Read moreFranco Manca is the one of the few chains in the UK offering Italian taste and it is my usual place of choice when it comes to pizza, BUT yesterday 18/11/2023 I experience very poor quality of service from the manager and I decided to raise this publicly hoping that someone will take some action!
Together with my wife and our 7 months years old child drove to Windsor for pizza. We wanted specifically to go to Franco Manca. When we arrived with a pushchair around lunchtime the male manager (I did not take a name), approached us informing that there is no space (despite some spaces being available). We accepted this and asked for a solution (booking a space for us, coming back after some time or anything similar). The only answer without any initiative to help was: we do not take bookings and we can't guarantee a space if you come back in 15 minutes. It was done in a very unfriendly, unhelpful and unpleasant way! We went somewhere else.
The main point here is that I always liked this place, but I felt that when we arrived with our child we were kicked out by unfriendly manager who couldn't care less.
