My self and 2 friends went to wagamamas today 10/01/2022. When we arrived the restaurant relatively empty with a few tables and 1 large table. We were sat alongside the large table who were eating their main course. We took our coats off and with in minute's put them back on and then realised why everyone else had their coats on in the restaurant was freezing cold. I mentioned this to the waitress but nothing was done. I then ordered saki to be told it's no longer available but still on the menu. So had water. We then ordered our food. With in minute's my friends katsu curry arrived. My other friend and myself waited waited and waited for our food after 15 minutes I called the waitress over and explained that we came to eat together. She told me that they had 4 kitchens and I explained that that wasn't our problem. My friend still waiting then got her food. I waited another 10 minutes before I got mine. I then complained to the manager who was not interested at all. I then went to eat my Ruamen only to find the noodles were vegan over cooked and were in the bowl like snot. I complained once again and was told this can happen with vegan noodles which I didn't order. I told her to take the food away and refused a replacement. The manger had no interest and customer service was nil as she huffed off with the bowl goo. When I eventually got her attention I informed her that Windsor was the worse wagamama I had been too for service and quality of food. I frequent Camberly quite often with no problems. Food bad. Staff attitude especially the manager bad. No apology couldn't be bothered. Not surprised the place was empty. This is from a manager of another restaurant and knows a little can go along way. Will never revisit Windsor. Go To Go Sushi. Friendly caring staff. 0 stars would be more appropriate...
Read moreI called to order for collection only. I was in a hurry, as my Husband was specially making his way, plus through rush hour to reach ASAP. So I needed to order straight away
The first member of staff kept refusing, although being informed about the rush and kept pushing me to go online, click & collect.
I had diet customisations to be made, again I was pushed to the net. I mentioned if I try and struggle to do this online, can I call back. Again she refused and pushed me to then go through to Uber.
I actually felt like not even bothering ordering anymore, but I still had to as my Husband was about to reach.
I tried twice online through click and collect, without seeing an option for customisation, then the order screen was all white. Tried and started again on another tab, but the same issue.
I called back expecting to be refused a third time. After a long wait for an answer.
Thankfully a warm bubbly staff member called Monika answered. She was ready to take my order straight away. No questions asked. I explained what had happened earlier and expressed my gratitude, without any fuss and working in line with always putting the customer first.
If it is possible to do phone orders, I don't understand why earlier I was given all that fuss. I mean in that amount of time spent on the first call I probably could have my order through twice.
Plus this all happened on Tues early evening, not even on the weekend, late evening or night.
Again many thanks to Monika, I'm sure you will keep delivering great service and putting the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Wagamama and it was nothing short of amazing. The ambiance was welcoming, and the service was prompt and friendly, making the overall experience delightful.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. I started with the Chicken Caramelized Onions Koyo Bowl, a dish that was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the caramelized onions added a delightful sweetness that complemented the umami flavors of the dish.
Next, I tried the Yaki Saba Mushrooms. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, retaining their earthy flavor while absorbing the delicious sauce they were cooked in. The dish was a testament to Wagamama’s ability to turn simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces.
The Chicken Katsu was another standout dish. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the katsu sauce added a tangy kick that elevated the dish to new heights.
To wash it all down, I ordered an Asahi beer. It was crisp, refreshing, and served at just the right temperature, making it the perfect accompaniment to my meal.
In conclusion, my dining experience at Wagamama was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable...
