Been to many Halal butchers but this one in particular is very clean and the meat was of good standard

I’ve bought halal meat from Asda, morrisons, Tesco and each time although it is fine it never lasts to the sell by date for some reason

The guys here have it nicely packed and fresh, always have gloves on and when it says it will last for 5 days time it has

I have bought from here for the past 2 months being cautious before I review as most of the halal butchers I’ve felt disappointed because you realise you only get quality on the first visit

Hashim is just the best person ever. Always super friendly and chatty and he goes out if his way to stock things you are interested in. By now, Sharlands Continental has one of the best and eclectic collections of world foods in the Southside. Japanese, Korean, Australian, Mexican, you name it. And, of course, a huge collection of foods from Pakistan and India. Their samosas are fantastic, too.

More than just your average corner shop. They are a Shawlands...

Use this shop quite regularly and never been disappointed. Prices are great staff are very friendly. The lambs are cut to order and are delicious. Try the lamb "back chops". We just bought 42 for tomorrow's dinner (family coming) and roughly half the price of a Scottish butcher. The chicken breasts are great too and massive.
