I am really dissapointed. I have been a regular customer here for over 4 years, but from now on I will think twice. I was going to buy a scratch card as I always do after my weekly shopping. This old lady ( blond with long hair) was rude, unprofessional and even rasist. She said that she won't serve me as I don't look old enough to buy a scratch card. She said this in a very high pitch voice, and a very disgusted face, while chewing gum at every word that she said. Although I am 31 and unfortunately I do look like my age, I left without a word. I thought to myself that she was exaggerating as I only asked for a scatch card not cigarettes or alcohol, and I look old enough to have a young teenager myself. As I was with my mother, I have told her the situation, and she said that she would buy one for herself and one for me. The same cashier pretended not to understand my mother's accent, even after she repeated herself like 3 times, then she said that she won't serve her anyway as apparently my mother confirmed to her that she was going to buy the scratch cards for me. She literally lied and put words in my mother's mouth as she clearly didn't like us for having a foreign accent. First she couldn't understand her and after she understood that she had confirmed to her that she was buying thr ticket for me. Hilarious! I thought that racism doesn't exist anymore. I have never thought that I will encounter such situation in my area. Tesco should not accept such behaviour. I would honestly fire this lady as her behaviour is disgusting. She wasn't showing any sign of professionalism. From now on I will choose a different store that have nicer staff. Literally if you go to the local Sainsburys, staff is always smiling and very helpful. That maked a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHi, last Monday the 21/01/25 i was at the Tesco store in Keynsham supporting a lady with her weekly grocery shopping, unfortunately at the point of paying her bank card would not take the payment. The time was around 13:00 and we were at till number 11, the lady who served was Sharon, she absolutely went above and beyond to help us. Sharon was so helpful and totally understanding, she arranged with a colleague to put our shopping aside while we returned with some cash. We did not have the full amount so Sharon scanned enough items to bring the total to what the lady could afford. As well as that we were able to purchase the frozen items as well, the end total was five pence over so Sharon happily agreed to pay it herself !!. Sharon really could not have been more helpful and would love for her to be made aware please !. I work in Keynsham and visit the Tesco store fairly often and will carry with me a five pence coin to give to her...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe experience of using the unisex toilets with my children here is well below one star.
I'm not sure why you would put children at risk like that!
There is a risk of them becoming ill due to having to wipe male urine off of the seat everytime we use these facilities!
Then as my daughter found out yesterday, a male had left the toilet unlocked, my daughter had opened it & was deeply embarrassed as a man was in there!
This leaves all children at risk of indecent exposure & illness!
Then you have the overbearing smell of male urine in both cubicles now!
It's always a truly horrible experience when having to use these facilities & cannot fathom why they are both unisex now!
It's shocking what this company is willing to subject children to in the name of...
