The Old Bank — Restaurant in Great Britain

I popped in for a lunch-time pint with two friends this afternoon. The bar tender was very friendly and pleasant with a lovely smile too! He was engaging and helpful and happy to chat with us. Excellent pint of Guinness too, perfect condition and temperature and not rushed which was a very welcome surprise. There is also a rear courtyard with seating, including a sheltered smoking area with seating. The Gent's toilets were sparkling clean and fresh smelling. I'll definitely come back again. Food is not provided here, though usual bar snacks are available in abundance. There is an enormous wall-mounted TV at a pleasantly discreet volume. This is a proper boozer which is clean, friendly and comfortable. Prices have remained sensible rather than the over-inflated prices seen of late. Well worth the visit 👍🏻 P. S. We went on a week night, and the place only had six people in there, the one big thing we noticed was how dirty the toilets were and the outside area as well, we even seen mice running around eating on the disregarded food on the floor the wife wouldn't even use the toilets waited till we got home, young people turned up with takeaways from the kebab shop just useing the outside area as some where to eat their food (it's a pub not a park) we only stopped for a drink but we wouldn't have any food there based on the clearness of the toilets and...

It's a classic pub with a modern twist all the feel of a community with a welcoming attitude, staff are polite and friendly the range of Drinks is kind of outrageous there must be 30 gins 10 different Rums same with Vodkas then 5 larger on draft 5 ciders on draft 2/3 real ales plus the array of bottles that's not to mention wines 😅 and very cheap in comparison but without having to lose quality, Dog friendly pub Sports on the TV Pool table upstairs in the NFL inspired lounge live music and events really too much to add 😬 in a nut...
