Hotel Chocolat — Local services in Ipswich

I have visited the store twice since it opened and both visits have been positive. We were approached with free samples of chocolate both times, the first time one of the ladies was so lovely, that my son who has autism and isn’t usually fond of the ladies, took an absolute liking for her. She was so kind to him and while he hugged her leg she hugged him back. When he likes a person he is very cuddly and some people get quite upset about their personal space being invaded and we obviously try to avoid it happening especially in shops! But this was not the reaction from this lovely lady - she asked about Christmas and he told her he wanted PJ Mask toys and she quoted her children were a little older so she wasn’t sure what that was - she was really good at helping me choose chocolates too. Today I visited again and the cashier was so friendly and signed me up for a loyalty card too which is a bonus. The store is also very well presented and very clean. We will definitely be regular visitors to this store now...

First time I have been in the Ipswich shop and the staff were really helpful and answered all my questions with lots of offers and plenty of different flavours to choose from it makes for a perfect gift or treat not just at Christmas but anytime...
