After a full 6 hours watching cricket at Guiseley CC my mate & I fancied chips. Arrived at 7.30pm on the dot, didn't see the sign outside saying they'd closed and went in. The lady & gent inside more than happy to serve us.

Never heard of a parsley cake so tried one with chips. My mate went for fish & chips. Cooked fresh. They gave us a complimentary potato scallop each. Good portions. Very friendly and respect for still serving us.

Found some benches in a garden area outside Morrisons to tuck in. Parsley cake is minced fish, parsley & pepper in batter. Very impressed. Quality chips. My mate said the fish was good, looked a decent size. With hindsight should have gone for some brown sauce but such is life.

If you're in the Guiseley area & fancy something plus chips would definitely recommend calling in. Very impressed.

I popped in here on my way home from work desperate for a family meal because I was too tired to cook.

Fish and chips for 4.

The service was excellent. I was served by a young blond lad who was simply excellent so if you are his boss then please make sure you pass on the compliment as he was brilliant at his job.

The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and beautifully soft and flaky on the inside.

The chips were firm and fluffy at the same time, cooked to perfection, plenty of them and delicious.

To say I went here purely because I noticed they were open and I was not expecting much, I was absolutely stunned by the quality of the food I got from here and I am really hard to please.

Was served by a female who didn't smile once but was polite. Had asked for small portion of peas with the food and didn't realise till I got to my mums that both I and the assistant had forgotten the peas. I had ordered just chips and to be honest far from the best. Looked and tasted like they had been cooked all day long and it was 6.30pm when I ordered. My mum said her fish was nice. I won't be visiting again while I'm down guiseley. I'll stick to my usual in Yeadon and take them to my mums in Guiseley. Extremely disappointed as it was my treat for my mum to give her a night...
