My friend and I wanted to come out for a last treat before we go back to work on Monday and everybodies seemed to fit the bill for us and our three children.
We were seated at a very nice booth table by a really friendly waitress. The waitress took our drinks order and we decided what we wanted to eat. The waitress didn’t return for some time and we could see that it seemed to be getting busy and she seemed to be the only member of staff and looked very flustered.
Unfortunately our children were starving and we really needed to order to I went over the waitress and politely asked if we could order but that there was no rush and only when she had a minute. I felt sorry for her because it was a Friday lunch time and it was getting busier!!
When she came over to take our food ordered she seemed really irritated which I came only presume is because I asked if we could order. She kept looking at the bar at the customers that were waiting and she was clearly very flustered and stressed out. I felt for her to be honest but it was really disappointing that she was taking it out on us, my friend was struggling to get her son to confirm what he wanted and the waitress in a very abrupt way turned to me and said “we’ll do you know what you want?” It was really awkward and not the best experience. She tapped her feet as though to hurry us up and was generally rude.
I asked for three cups of water for the children however only two arrived. I had to get up and get another and the waitress again seemed irritated and wasn’t very friendly.
The food arrived and it was nice as it always is.
I noticed there was another member of staff at that point but we sat with our empty plates in front of us for a long time, I even had to go up and get our own dessert menus. When the waitress came over she was friendlier but it really wasn’t the usual level of service we receive at everybodies.
I felt like I spent most of the time on my feet and it just felt stressful.
We went up to pay because again no one came over to take payment.
It was a really disappointing experience and not the relaxed lunch we had hoped for.
I come to everybodies a lot with my mummy friends and family and it’s really put me off. I was shocked that on a Friday afternoon there was so few staff. I felt sorry for the waitress but felt it was really unfair that she was rude and impatient with us.
Since my visit I have contacted the manager but got a totally fob off and he didn’t even acknowledge my main complaint about the service we received from the waitress.
I don’t like to leave bad reviews but it’s only fair I share my experience after the Manager made no attempt to resolve the situation and didn’t even seem bothered that his staff would be so rude...
Read moreI visited 2 occasions on Friday evening on a night out and then again on Saturday morning for breakfast. I will start with the breakfast first if of all. Posh Eggs on Toast and my son had Eggs Benedict. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. If I was judging everybody's for the food along it would be 5/5. No complaints at all. Yes more expensive than many places but worth every penny.
However, Friday night. We visited the bar and I ordered what they had called a Ukraine. Decided that this was worth a try and they were making a donation to the crisis in Ukraine. My son ordered a JD and Coke double. However, when it came first to the Ukraine cocktail I noticed the barman filling the glass to the top with ice. He then put the blue part of the drink into the glass. Then with crushes ice fill the space before adding the remaining blend. Hardly and drink in the glass. Why on earth would anyone need that amount of ice? Then my sons drink came and then the price. £16.95!! I queried this as it seemed way over the top expensive. The barman checked with the Supervisor and confirmed it was correct!
My cocktail £7.95 and the double JD and Coke £9. The drink of the cocktail was gone in a few sips as there was nothing really in their. An absolute rip off and hence me writing this review. When you put that much ice in a drink its clearly over the top. No one needs that amount of ice in a drink.
I urge the owners to look at this scam and be fair to customers and try not to rip people off. As I say 5/5 for the breakfast 0/5 for the drinks and ripoff prices. Not...
Read moreA bit disappointed today. We've visited quite a few times and always been happy but this time it wasn't great. Seemed a little bit disorganised on arrival but quickly rectified and I got a free Buck's fizz for Mother's Day which was nice. Requested the gluten free roast dinner and wasn't told that it wouldn't include a Yorkshire pudding (no alternative offered). Main course took over an hour to arrive (2 roasts and a burger). Disappointed with the portion size too, one but of carrot, one bit of parsnip, two small potatoes and a couple of green beans. Not really £15 worth of food. One of the staff told me I'd need to order a separate gluten free dessert but then a different member of staff brought two chocolate brownies and didn't know which was gluten free. She went to check and said they were all gf but the first had said they weren't so I wasn't filled with confidence. The third dessert didn't arrive until 10 minutes later but we had to eat ours while my son waited as our ice cream had melted. Ice cream with a cold, hard chocolate brownie wasn't particularly enjoyable either. Definitely not up to...
