New management and team since mid 2024.

Formerly known as elements, this salon is now under a team of young very talented hair stylists. In the heart of Soho, competition is rife and these guys have held their own.

It's in a street behind the famous arcade las Vegas, situated in the ground floor where it's basement is a massage parlour.

The renovation really paid off with great lighting, good sounds system and personal touch of props to give some uniqueness.

I came here because the former hair stylist, Ives from First Cut is now part of this new team at Base Salon.

Ives has always been my go to hairstylist, he is the only person I trust with his creativity and skills. I'm not very restrictive on the requirements, I would give him vague descriptions of what I want; such as short, medium, bangs, no bangs, permed or dyed. Ultimately I always let him make the calls and Every. Single. Time. He has flawlessly executed.

Chris who works here as the assistant always dresses so stylish, his vibes are great and plays a crucial part of keeping the team together. He gives excellent head massages and if you initiate with the right topics he can be very chatty! I would trust Chris to look after anyone, he always does his best and it shows :)

I think the team at base salon has been exceptional so far and I hope they continue to be successful and provide great service. I highly recommend giving them a try and if in doubt always show them a picture of what you want - with a touch of realistic expectations because remember they are not magicians! … not yet anyways ;D

I went to a salon called splash just around the corner to have highlights and a cut and they made a total mess of it and then try to overcharge me for treatments I hadn’t asked for or agreed to , I was so upset with what they did to my hair that I couldn’t wait to get it fixed. I found Base Salon in Rupert Street open on Sunday and called in to see if they could help. I spoke to the manager at base salon and asked his opinion On what I could do He took complete charge and told me exactly how he could fix it

After everything was washed off, I was over the moon. He had done such a brilliant job.

My hair looks as it should have looked after the treatment with splash and I will certainly be returning to the salon in the future and would recommend anybody that wants a good haircut or colour to come here as well

The staff were all absolutely lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for not just myself but everybody else in the salon

I've been a old customer of Harry Lee and upon arriving to Elements Hair for the time, after my made booking. The environment shocked me as it was extremely stunning, spacious and well taken care of, and I also have to mention, the employees really make you feel welcomed and comfortable, ultimately making it feel like a really warm environment, as they are all easy to get along with.

The customer service was excellent and like always, Harry really listens and understands what you ask for, much like the other barbers and they do their best to please their customers. These types of barbers tare great at seeing the vision of the haircut you want, and they fulfill that wish of yours to their best of their ability.

I recommend this barber shop to everyone I know all the time, as they all have amazing...
