I booked a luxury pedicure and the experience was shockingly bad; it didn’t even meet the standard of a basic treatment.

The black polish I had on wasn’t properly removed, just smeared all over my toes, making them look dirty. My nails weren’t filed at all, there was no moisturizer applied, as you can see from the dryness in the pics, and definitely no massage (which I’ve received at every other salon without even booking a "luxury" treatment).

While she was polishing my feet, I tried to let her know I’m ticklish, but she completely ignored me and kept chatting with coworkers. Then, in the middle of the pedicure, she got up and left without saying a word, no explanation, no apology. I was sat there for 15 minutes before someone else finally took over.

To top it off, they got my trousers wet even though they were rolled up to my knees. The nail polish was rushed, uneven, and messy, it looked like they just wanted to get it over with.

While I was sitting there, two other customers came in with complaints, needing to get their nails fixed from the day before. That alone should’ve been a red flag.

When I arrived to this nail salon for a wax I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism. My appointment had not been recorded and was told that I couldn’t have it done even though it was urgent as I had no time and was going on holiday the next day. Eventually they managed to fit me in and at first all seemed fine and my wax was done in no time. When I got home I saw that a lot of hairs were not removed and had to finish it off myself at home. After paying for the wax I was bitterly disappointed and I spent a lot of extra time that I didn’t have. I don’t blame this on the waxing lady, I blame this on the conditions of the salon. So i have been going here for a year and can't fault the prices and service! However i have to point out that they are advertising a BIAB service (£30) but they are using Clear Rubber Base from The GelBottle which is a more durable version of a regular base coat. This is NOT a BIAB product and should not be advertised as such! 🙏🏻 I thought it might have been a one off, but i checked their service details for BIAB on treatwell and it states that they use Clear Rubber Base for this service (from The GelBottle), so i think they just don't realise that this isn't a builder gel.
