AVOID AT ALL COSTS

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a takeaway. We ordered through Just Eat and called the restaurant to confirm the order, only to be met with unbelievable rudeness. The person on the phone started shouting at us, saying we were wasting their time and told us not to call back.

Minutes later, we received an email from Just Eat saying our order had been cancelled. Confused, we called back to ask why, and again, the man on the phone aggressively shouted that we had cancelled the order – which we absolutely did not.

There was no attempt to resolve the situation, just pure disrespect and aggression. Completely unacceptable behaviour. I will never be ordering from or stepping foot in this place...

Update 02/10/2024 - Used to come here regularly on average once a week. Sometimes twice. The chicken strips were amazing, better than KFC. I went there once and for the last time a couple of months ago (it was under new management) and the chicken strips had shrunk to a quarter of their previous size and were much more spicy. I was essentially ripped off. I mentioned that these chicken strips are shrunk. The staff kept focused on that they were more spicy and some customers liked them. But said they would feedback, which I didn't feel was genuine. Won't be coming back. Not worth the risk of being hungry and ripped off. This is pretty brazen of them because it wasn't a small change. Basically a breach...

Absolute joke of food shop. Ordered my meal and paid for it. Was waiting for about 20 minutes whilst other customers were coming and going with their orders. Thought it was taking a while so I politely asked where my food was and the man behind the counter proceeded to gaslight me saying that I'd never placed an order. He asked me for my receipt, which, of course, he never gave me despite him taking my order 20 minutes before. Had no signal in there so I just walked out and checked my bank account, as he actually had me second-guessing myself, and the money had left my account. SCAMMERS - avoid...
