Flying Tiger Copenhagen formerly Tiger Copenhagen is a Danish variety store chain. It's first shop opened in Copenhagen in 1995 and the chain now has nearly 1000 shops. Its largest markets are Denmark, UK, Italy and Spain. The chain sells a variety of items mostly accessories and toys. Tiger takes its name from the pronunciation of the animal name Tiger which sounds roughly the same as the Danish word 'tier' used to denote a 10 kroner coin. In the first stores in Denmark all of the items cost 10 kroner. Flying Tiger opened their global Online shop in July 2021 catering to most of Europe. The Online store is opening the range of products for a much broader audience than the network of physical stores are catering to. New products are added to the store each week, many products are limited edition and only for sale for a limited time. I was very pleased that my impromptu visit was rewarded with a pocket torch on a key ring that I was going to look elsewhere for. It is nicely made and much brighter than the torch I intend for...
Read morePurchased from this branch for the second (and final time) time today. Not sure what's going on with Kings Road in general. Something has happened. Became apparent since summer. There has been an increase of profiling customers that "look" a certain way. It's also very blatantly obvious aka in your face, not hiding it. I've experienced this since time immemorial but my window of tolerance is now starting to diminish at an alarming rate. Maybe people that have the same skin colour as me, have been engaging in some sort of activity but we all have not been birthed from the same birthing canal, so why paint us all with the same brush? Never again. Ghastly. Spoilt my shopping experience. Absolutely fuming. And it certainly wasn't my perfume, that's for sure! Guerlain never...
Read moreLovely shop, great location. Rude staff. I was asked at the self check out by a female if I paid for the bag I put my purchase into: I did. I was met with a smug laugh as she checked the till I paid at to check if I paid the 10p for my bag. The funny thing is, the store was full.. she ONLY checked my till, the youngest person on the self checkout at the time, didn’t check anyone else’s. Coincidence? When she realised I had paid for the bag, she seemed kind of embarrassed, as she should.. because her manner was unnecessary. I work in retail myself, I get it, but there was a level of professionalism that wasn’t met here. If you’re worried about people not scanning the bags, do what the supermarkets usually do, keep them behind a till point only you can access,...
