London Pub MapLondon Pub Map
🚇 Sloane Square đŸș £7.15 Brixton Lager The Chelsea Potter is located on the Kings Road on the corner of Radnor walk in Chelsea, West London. The nearest Tube is Sloane Square. This pub was built in 1842 and was originally called The Commercial Tavern. It was renamed in 1958 in honour of the Chelsea Pottery located on Radnor Walk. The Chelsea Potter became famous in the 1960s and 70s", it is claimed that regular customers included Jimi Hendrix and Mick Jagger. There were once thirteen pubs along this famous thoroughfare, now there are only two. This is a one bar pub which is traditionally decorated. The ceilings are high and have beautiful corinthian columns situated through the middle and by the windows. The servery is located on the right hand side and stretches down the length of the bar. The seating consists of high level poser tables in the centre and low level seating around the perimeter. There are a couple of screens for live sport and some nice features like the etched glass and pictures of Jimi Hendrix and Keith Richards. For the warmer months there our benches to the side of the pub. The Beer selection will please most and offers a line up of familiar favourites including three cask ales. I decided on a Brixton Lager, my pint was great, price point was expensive at over seven quid. The food menu is pub classics, Fish & Chips costs ÂŁ16.95. I visited just after 5pm on a rainy Tuesday afternoon in March. The pub was busy as usual as it attracts lots of passing trade as well as local regulars. The atmosphere was upbeat and buzzy, just how a high street pub should be. This pub does get very busy, especially when the footy is on TV. I had a nice chat with the Guv’nor who was welcoming, chatty and friendly. He was kind enough to let me in on another day to take some photos before the pub opened. I have visited this pub a few times and it is always busy. Unlike many pubs in the area, this Greene King pub isn't gastrofied and retains a proper pub feel. If you’re ever bowling down the Kings Road and in need of refreshment, I would definitely recommend a visit to the @chelsea_potter_ 📅 26th March 2024 More London Pub info @londonpubmap đŸ»

Stopped in for “just one” at the Chelsea Potter on a lazy Sunday and accidentally time-traveled into the best people-watching sitcom London never filmed. I ordered a 1664 because I’m a classy bloke with continental aspirations. The vibe? Immaculate. It’s like the pub itself took a Xanax and said, “Let’s just chill, mate.” Everyone around looked like they were either recovering from a night at Soho House or preparing to casually buy a building. And me? I was the main character, beer in hand, judging outfits like it was fashion week and I was Anna Wintour in sneakers. Highly recommend if you want to sip, stare, and silently narrate other people’s lives with zero judgment (well, minimal judgment). Bonus points for clean loos and zero seagull attacks. 4/5 would sit here again pretending I live in a Richard Curtis movie.

*DO NOT EAT HERE* Took an hour to receive 3 sandwiches. My side of chips was a miserable portion and the chips were stone cold and thrown on the plate. Clearly had been left sitting for a long time. We informed the staff we had been waiting a long time for food but the response was, ‘it takes some time. We are busy’ despite there only being about 4 tables of people eating food. We then complained that the chips were cold and were given no apology. The manager was even rude enough to leave us standing mid-conversation to serve another customer. The waiter was clueless and the manager was even worse. Neither had a clue. We even had to suggest that they replace the chips with fresh ones. The sandwich was tasteless and tasted no better than a prepackaged sandwich in a filling station. Avoid avoid avoid.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Chelsea Potter on multiple occasions, and it has quickly become one of my favourite spots in Fulham, West London. This charming pub exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps drawing me back.

The first thing that struck me about the Chelsea Potter is the friendliness of the staff. Every time I've visited, I've been greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. The bartenders are not only knowledgeable about the wide range of beers they offer but also happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. It's evident that they take pride in their craft and genuinely care about their customers' experience.

The pub itself has a cosy and traditional vibe, with its wooden furnishings and comfortable seating. The interior is well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant environment to relax and unwind. Whether you're looking for a spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet drink alone, the Chelsea Potter offers a suitable setting for both.

As a beer enthusiast, I appreciate the diverse selection of beers available at the Chelsea Potter. They have a great variety of local and international brews on tap, and the staff is always happy to provide information about the different flavors and styles. It's refreshing to see a pub that offers more than just the standard options, catering to those seeking unique and interesting choices.

While Chelsea Potter mainly focuses on being a pub, they do have a small selection of bar snacks available. While the food options may be limited, what they do offer is tasty and well-prepared. It's a nice touch to have something to nibble on while enjoying a pint.

The only reason I haven't given Chelsea Potter a full five-star is because it can get quite busy during peak times, leading to a bit of a wait for service. However, the staff always handles the rush with professionalism, and the wait is usually worth it once you have your drink in hand.

Overall, Chelsea Potter is a fantastic neighbourhood pub in Fulham, West London. With its friendly staff, extensive beer selection, and cosy atmosphere, it's a place where you can enjoy a few pints and unwind with friends. I highly recommend checking it out if you're...

I only write reviews if I’ve have a great experience or a bad one, unfortunately today it was bad. The guy who served me was incredibly rude. While he was pouring my pint (expensive one) I asked him for some tissues, he didn’t acknowledge my request so I asked him again and his response was very rude (I cannot remember what exactly he said), but I felt uncomfortable and I didn’t like it.

I’ve then went to order another pint and he served me again. This time he was chatting to his colleague and making me and another customer wait which is very unprofessional and very rude. While pouring my second pint he made a motion making it look like as if he spat in my pint (maybe he did, but I wasn’t sure so I just assumed he didn’t) I very hope he didn’t otherwise I’ve would’ve definitely made a lawsuit against this place.

I’ve been too many pubs in London and by far this has been my worst experience. I was planning to take my stuff here for some Christmas drinks after work, but that’s definitely not going to happen - I’ll be taking them elsewhere locally. If I was his boss I’d fire him on the spot. He was a tall guy with short dark hair and looked Eastern European, so if you see him avoid him at all cost. It’s a shame as I’ve been here several times and never had any problems.

I hope the management will take some action against him as I’ve read some other negative reviews and this place has tons of space for...
