Hagan have increased prices for coffee up 20p due to milk increases which were not informed to the customer in advance. To examine this relatively we can look at how it impacts the owner or customer. Here is an outline from ADHB: 'November milk price announcements are increasing across the board on the AHDB league table, except for some retail aligned contracts. Although there were small gains for Co-op and Waitrose contracts (+0.92ppl and +0.25ppl respectively), M&S and Sainsburyâs made no change to their milk prices. However, Tesco announced a decline of 0.43ppl. Bear in mind ppl stands for pence per litre not cup of coffee
Non-aligned liquid contracts moved up between 0.5ppl and 1.20ppl in November. Paynes Dairies were at the lower end of the range (0.5ppl), having made a larger announcement last month. Freshways and Muller Direct both increased their prices by another 1.0ppl. Crediton also increased by 1.0ppl after a smaller increase last month, this being the sixth consecutive monthly price rise. Pembrokeshire Creamery, which only came online this spring, announced a 1.2ppl price rise for November, its fifth monthly increase.
Hagan have increased their cup of cappuccino by 20 pence from 3.50 to 3.70 which is far beyond the increase in milk charges which is small percentage increase per litre.
I believe that Hagan have behaved in an unethical manner by unnecessarily increasing...
Read moreI must at first say that this caffe is serving a very dark roast coffee but that is just simply a standard in London which I personally am not fond of though. I donât think one can avoid it but I donât think thereâs any cafĂ© in the whole city not even some other cafĂ©s in Mayfair which cost partly nearly ÂŁ7 per a cup thatâs produces a greater result with those dark roasted beans. The latter art has practically always been wonderful. The milk steam always perfect. The bar is very small. I personally do like it and find it cozy though it is often full generally if you are in Chelsea or even if you have to go a bit to get there and especially if you are different to me fond of that coffee roast, I can wholeheartedly recommend you going there. always been very nice. After having rats, few other comments about theyâre not being a lot to eat I would like to agree as well as disagree it is indeed right that there is basically no food there they are brownies which are very nice but itâs not what you would want to eat for breakfast though the shop is called espresso bar not coffee so I do think that justifies it as it makes the full more of a bonus other than a neat because if I read espresso bar, I do notexpect...
Read moreLovely coffee and interior but left something to be desired.
Came in today for a quick double espresso, beautiful interior and nice space even though it is very small they manage to make a good space out of it.
For a speciality coffee shop I would have liked more variety of my coffee blend and input from the barista but I understand only having a single blend.
The espresso I would say was nice. Just nice. It was a bit over extracted I would say and lacked depth of flavour, most likely it is late in the day and the espresso needs to be dialed in more.
One comment I must say, the stool chairs are grossly hard to sit on and extremely uncomfortable. Like sitting on a pole.
Overall OK coffee and nice vibe inside.
