After reading the kind response from Hedoine to my review, I realized that an update to this review is long overdue.

First off, a bit after we bought the initial tights that the review was, well, reviewing, Hedoine informed us that they had made some tweaks to the fit and sizing of the tights, so we promptly ordered some more to try (we were going to be ordering more because we like them so much, but it was nice to know that we'd get to try the "new and improved" version). We also ordered some pairs with tall waists (we'd only tried the short waist versions previously).

Anyway, the changes to fit and sizing made a big difference. They definitely fit better - eliminating the only complaint we had about the first generation tights. And the high waists are amazing - help the tights stay in place much better than waistbands on conventional tights (and even better than other wide waistband tights like Calvin Klein, which still have a tendency to drift south over the course of the day), while being insanely comfortable to wear - none of that squish feeling like from compression/control top tights.

Lastly, along with the changes to fit, Hedoine also added in array of nude colors, all of which are gorgeous (I'm especially sad to see the limited edition Martini Olive color disappear - didn't get around to ordering a pair). And, very exciting in a household that goes through a LOT of tights, according to Hedoine's instagram, they will be launching 50 denier black tights in October. We have, of course, pre-ordered them.

Hedoine went from not existing on our radar last fall, to rapidly becoming our go-to tights brand (especially as they bring in more colors and styles). The designs and colors are gorgeous and they're incredibly comfortable and long lasting, making them pretty much the best deal out there for tights. I'm incredibly excited to see where they go to from here.

My wife just got a few pairs of Hedoine's new tights, and, I have to say, they're outstanding. First, let me say that we were a little skeptical of the no runs/ladders claim, especially on tights this sheer. However, my wife has worn one of the pairs four times now, and they're still run-free. This is especially impressive considering it's December, when fingers and feet are at their most "snaggy." I'm not sure we've seen any other brand (including Wolford, which tend to hold up pretty well) last this long without laddering or snagging.

The other part of these that's really cool is the styling, especially on The Edgy - the contrasting waistband and soles is a really different and sexy touch. It just looks really distinctive, in a sexy/classy way.

The one concern with these is that the mediums were a little short through the waist for my wife (who's 5'9" and has a long waist); she's hoping that the large and or the longer waist version addresses this. Unfortunately, the large was sold out when we placed our order. However, we've been impressed enough that she's definitely willing to try the larger size. And it's not that the mediums don't fit; she's just hoping that the large fits better. For shorter or shorter-waisted women, this likely wouldn't be an issue.

Out of all seamless tights out there that my wife has tried (including the Wolford Fatal, which had been her favorite), these just might be her new favorite (especially if the large fits better through the waist). And the price is really quite reasonable, too, especially considering that they're not destroyed after one or two wearings, but still going strong after four.

All in all, these tights are really quite impressive, especially for a brand new product from a brand new company. We really hope that Hedoine has the best of success (because a new company making nylons is great news) and that they continue to put out exciting (and durable) products at...

Really not the quality you'd expect for this price. The feel is a bit rough and not as silky and soft as my other tights which cost the same amount of money. I wore them only once and there are already plenty of spots where the fabric is slightly damaged (no runs/ladders though) i have no clue where the spots come from as i was wearing the tights under my trousers (maybe cause i hadn't shaved my legs in 3 days? But that really shouldn't cause this kind of distress to "indestroyable" tights as they brand them). It's already suspicious that they offer a subscription plan to regularly get them delivered... why would you need that if they're so durable? definitely won't buy again.
