Snappy Snaps — Local services in London

Went for my passport photo as I wanted one that would be accepted for my citizenship applications, so I didn't mind that it was a bit expensive. They quickly took a photo of me which was dark and had a big shadow behind my head. When questioned I was told this was correct and would be accepted and they started to print it without me agreeing the printed pictures looked dark and not a good contrast. I questioned both the shadow and this again and was told it would be accepted. The rude lady there she apparently checked it on a government site and said it would be approved. I was not happy with the pictures but went home as I felt bullied to accept. Once home I checked the compared this to other passport pictures (taken previously at snappy snaps) and there was a massive difference. I then went on the government website and checked what is acceptable the picture I had taken of me looked just like the one with the shadow in the background of the ones that said they will not be accepted. They specifically say no shadow is allowed in pictures. I would lose over £1500 if my application is rejected because of the photo. I have had to go and have my photo taken somewhere else. I used to go there to print and the service was always excellent, unfortunately just today I was very very disappointed by both the service and the product. I went there to get a picture for a document, the very ill mannered lady gave me direction as if she was mute (she wasn't), the pictures she took were absolutely fuc*g embarrassing and when I told her they were all bad she forced me to choose one in a rude way while her colleague urged me to pay by just shouting it's 9.99.... they then printed those horrible picture (I look different, not just better or worse, but different, even my hair colour is nothing like that). I am very disappointed. And those pictures will be binned, who doesn't enjoy to waste a tenner and be welcomed by bad...

The worst Snappy Snaps I’ve ever been to. The staff (a blonde lady) was extremely rude. She wouldn’t even look at me when I was trying to talk to her. I paid for express film development and, to begin with, it wasn’t express. I had to call twice and eventually I found out that they sent it to a wrong email address. The lady on the phone (I suppose the same blonde lady) was rude and was trying to prove that they sent it to the email that I gave them but I’ve literally never heard of that email address. Some pictures they developed are scratched, there is a weird filter on them and, all in all, the job wasn’t done properly. I will definitely not come back to this store and wouldn’t recommend...
