I just love going to this French book shop and pop in every time I go to London, to the Institut Français or the Frebch Consulate, both nearby. You can.pop in if you are visiting the Science Museum or the V&A Museum as they are round the corner too! The people who work there are most friendly and helpful; they answer your questions without putting any pressure on you to buy anything, and let you browser in peace. If you're after French books or magazines in the London area, I cannot imagine that there's a better place to go.

Their range is current and absolutely amazing. The negative though is the pricing. Justifiably, their prices are quite high, and if you have a regular connection to France, you'd be much better off either shopping their on your next trip, or asking someone to put them in a box and send them over to you.

But otherwise, I doubt you will get a better range online or offline anywhere nearby. Paperbacks, reference books, magazines, academic books as well as comics and BDs. Good range...
