Went there by myself. The service was terrible. I was sat at a group table which was already taken by two people. The staff said that I’ll be moved once a single table gets available. After a few mins, she said there is a table available. It was squeezed right in front of the kitchen and can smell dirty garbage , which makes sense because it was next to a bin. I wanted to move to a normal table where I can dine in without the rubbish smell. But to move a table, I needed to ask three times to three different staffs cos they were so busy or whatsoever. While waiting for a while to move my table again, my food was served and I felt so disregarded with the fact that the restaurant do expect their customer to eat at the squeezed area with the rubbish smell. Right next to mine, there was a empty single table and they didn’t move me right away but let other single table in the hall, which took a while. I also saw that the other customers around got bills right away after the plates were taken bur for mine, they forgot and I needed to ask again. The food was okay but the fries I got were literally so small and not chunky at all with the size of nails except for a few - think I also got unlucky on this one. Not sure whether everything was unlucky or just being discriminated cos I was a solo customer🤷🏻♀️

To be honest the reviews didn’t match my expectations. The staff weren’t very smiley but the atmosphere was ok. About the food: The buffalo chicken burger 🍔: 3/5 It was nice and crispy but it lacked a bit of flavour. The pesto chicken burger 🍔: 3/5 The tomatoes was sliced very thickly but overall is was ok. The smashed burger 🍔: 2/5 It was a bit bland with very little flavour. The kids chicken burger 🍔: 3/5 The kids meal overall was very disappointing they also gave us the orange juice in a broken cup. The drinks 🥤: The coke was very warm and not chilled, which impacted the taste of the drink. The lemonade was very mediocre. The orange juice was a 1/5 The sides: The rosemary fries 🍟: 1/5 Extremely salty and they were all tiny bits of potato ends there weren’t a lot of the real potato heart (the soft part of the potato), it was just the peel and the edges. The salad 🥗: 3/5 It lacked flavour and salad dressing and the vegetable sizes were randomly cut Overall it was a new experience but I don’t think I’ll be repeating it again.

I dont often give negative reviews as I know the hospitality sector is tough but I feel I am forced to give this branch of Honest Burger a 2* star rating. The venue looked nice and the welcoming was warm but once we placed our order, it took 46 minutes for our burgers and chips to come. The time it took was completely unacceptable. We chased it a couple of times with the waiter and we kept being told that it will be two minutes. Eventually the food arrived and the burger was okay but the chips were unnecessarily salty, greasey and over fried. Furthermore, the chips were tiny pieces, like the left overs. The waiter was aware of the abysmal service but still added a service charge to the bill which I asked him to remove. As an apology, they gave us 20% off the bill, but we would have qualified for that anyway as my wife had her NHS Blue Light discount. In summary, I would not recommend this place

The burgers are very nice. I really like the red onion relish. I don't think it's a pleasant experience. Their service and their system seems very inflexible and put me down👎. All their burgers come with chips, or their word: sides. However they also list buffalo wings as a side on their menu. I asked the waiter if they can upgrade my chips to buffalo wings and I'm happy to pay extra to cover the costs. But the waiter tells me: the system says no.... Moreover, my friend and I, 2 females, realised for 2 male customers they all had a table for 4. I admit that both of us are small and we can fit in a small table. It wasn't an issue until I saw the waitress intentionally put 2 small tables together to accommodate 2 male customers. It wasn't a pleasant thing to observe especially since we just visited Tate Britain to see Women in Revolt.

The food was good and the service as well. But a situation happened to my sisters and myself that I did not like from one of the workers there. Our table was at the end of the restaurant, and when we finished eating, we paid the bill and headed to the door. The receptionist stopped my sister and asked her, did you pay the bill? She replied yes. But he didn't let her out until he asked the waitress who served us! She answered: yes, they paid. But he did not stop at this behavior, but asked me again, and I told him yes, can I go out now?!! He said since my colleague said yes, i don’t know if you paid!! That was rude! Why would he said that! Was he racist with us since we are Arabs? Or because we are Muslim and veiled!
