I recently had the most horrendous experience at a local dry-cleaner that left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. Not only did they fail to meet the basic expectations of a dry-cleaning service, but they also managed to damage my items beyond repair. I cannot express my disappointment enough. Firstly, the customer service was abysmal. They lacked basic communication skills and failed to address my concerns adequately. It felt like they couldn't care less about my valuable clothing. However, the real nightmare began when I received my clothes back. To my utter disbelief, several very expensive items had been severely damaged. A delicate cashmere and wool items that I treasured were returned with stretched and unwearable. The blazer I sent in for cleaning came back uncleaned packed in plastic bag. It was apparent that this dry-cleaner had no regard for the proper handling and care of clothing. What bothered me the most was their complete lack of accountability. When I brought up the damage they caused, admitted that their press caused the damages, promised to fix and never resolve the issue. They made no effort to rectify the situation. It was clear that they were more interested in avoiding responsibility than providing any form of customer satisfaction. To add insult to injury, they charged exorbitant prices for their subpar service and didn’t issue any promised refund. I was shocked at the amount I had to pay for the privilege of having my clothes ruined. It was an absolute waste of both time and money. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using this dry-cleaner. Their lack of professionalism, disregard for customer concerns, and incompetence in handling clothing resulted in irreversible damage to my items. Save yourself the disappointment and potential loss by avoiding this establishment altogether. I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through the ordeal I experienced. BLANC — A STORE WHERE CLOTHES GO TO WASTE!

You’d normally think that a Kensington postcode, a nice storefront, and exorbitant prices would entitle Blanc to some sort of claim that they’re a respectable dry cleaners.

You’d be terribly wrong. Blanc is a place where you take perfectly nice clothes, and they manage to destroy them for you 😂. It’s in a way, the exact opposite of a dry-cleaners. An anti-cleaners! 😭

I gave them three pairs of trousers and a jacket. On one pair they ironed the crease out. Fine… mistakes happen. They refunded me £9. Now I have to take them to my tailors to professionally restore the crease, a costly inconvenience!

But the straw that broke the camel’s back was with my favourite pair of trousers, where they:

— managed to not follow instructions to DRY CLEAN the trousers and treat them separately with care (despite charging me the extra fee for that services!) — ironed the crease out — of course! 😂 I come to expect this of Blanc! — shrunk (you read that right)… SHRUNK my trousers in lenght an inch and a half by washing them in warm water. A precise piece of tailoring, utterly destroyed. Wearing them makes me look like I belong in kindergarten where I’ve been passed down my older brother’s trousers 😡 — managed to somehow thread the trousers in a couple of places.

Absolutely mortifying. £300 trousers completing ruined. I cannot wear them anymore.

The response of the lady at the front desk: “maybe call our Customer Service?”

Oh I will. I will call your Customer Service, every single day, to be reimbursed for the trousers. Because this is a shambles of a business.

We cannot allow these types of businesses to get away with this stuff. A minimum attention to detail and respect for your clients is required to simply exist as a dry-cleaning business.

And if you refuse to reimburse me, I promise I’ll take you to Small Claims Court. You have made a mortal enemy out of me,...
