Isle of flowers — Local services in London

For a high end flourist youd expect the staff to greet you with a smile and have exceptional customer service, especially for the price we pay for a bouquet! I went to the stratford westfield branch and was rushed to make a purchase without any guidance by a shop assistant who was extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked the lady (brunette with short hair, unfortunately couldnt see a name tag) when the flowers were put together, she snapped at me responding with "just now! an hour ago!" Once I got home I realised she clearly lied to me! She was very quick to rush me of (with my small baby in a pram) before I could ask for a message card. The response I got with such rude attitude and aggresive hand gestures was "its there its there! Take what you want!" I took what I needed in a hurry as both assistants made it very clear they were annoyed and irritated by me. As I walked off with my baby and shopping the third shop assistant/flourist (wearing a hijab, again didnt get a name) kindly came after me with a Cardette, the only nice part of that flourist experience. Isle of Flowers Stratford definitely need to do a better job at the interview process in order to employ well mannered, English speaking shop assistants/flourists with good customer service. Thats the least customers deserve when paying £40 for a small basic bouquet (which was lovely but, the experience made it NOT WORTH IT at all!) Over priced flourist with horrid staff. I was a regular customer and never had any issues till today but after that I will rather spend my money elsewhere!...

I stopped by this store to buy a gift for a friend as I was leaving the mall. A middle-aged woman was working at the time and was closing up.

I asked about the price of a plant that was still on display, and she told me it was £12. However, when she picked it up, I noticed the price tag clearly said £10. I pointed this out, assuming it was just a mistake.

At checkout, she didn’t hand me my paper receipt, which I found odd — so I asked for it. When I reviewed it, I saw that I had been charged £12. I returned to the shop and brought it to her attention. She seemed annoyed rather than apologetic, and oddly tried to offer me an artificial flower instead of refunding the difference.

She eventually gave me the £2 back, but the whole experience felt off. I wouldn’t feel comfortable...

I had such a wonderful experience with Ellie and Maria at Isle of Flowers in Stratford. They went above and beyond to help me pick the perfect flowers, and their warm, friendly service really stood out. Both of them showed great care and attention to detail, making sure everything looked just right.

The flowers were beautifully fresh and arranged with such creativity – you can really see the love and effort they put into their work. It’s rare to find people who are not only talented at what they do but also genuinely passionate about making customers happy.

Even though I couldn’t find the Stratford branch listed separately on Google, I still wanted to share how amazing their service was. If you ever get the chance to be served by Ellie and Maria, you’ll be in safe hands. Highly...
