Laundromat & Dry Cleaners — Local services in London

Stop taking my clothes some time ago but never had the chance to post the review. My work shirts were not ready for the promised day. I returned a few days later and they were still not ready. Not even one or two... Got my 10 shirts back as they were, not ironed. Owner asked me to pay the price of the wash.

He was rude and his business attitude was deplorable. He never tried to apologise for being late twice. In fact, he was happy to charge me for an unfinished job. I paid and XXXX them from my list. It was only a couple of pounds anyway.

I decided not to leave my clothes anymore in this place due to luck of trust. I wander whether I d get a reasonable answer from the owner or management, if something serious happen to my clothes. Immediately I knew the answer was: NO.

In my opinion they don’t seem accountable or responsible to complete a job or accept their own mistakes and try to rectify them when they occur.

Since then I changed to another dry cleaner in Borough High Street, similar price and service and never had a complain about them. Guys working...

I hardly ever write reviews but I’m so pleased with Laundromat and Dry Cleaners. Everything I have given them comes back so beautifully laundered, packaged and dry cleaned. Their customer service and quality is by far the best in the area, I tried other dry cleaners but was disappointed. They are professional and polite and dry clean exactly according to your requirement and have got stains out of my clothes which other dry cleaners refused to do. What I love most is that they always go the extra mile for their clients. For example, today I asked them to dry clean my jacket but they altered a missing button by themselves without me having to ask ! The best service you could possibly ask for alongside very reasonable prices. I visited for the first time late this afternoon with several items of clothing to be dry cleaned and mentioned that I had an event tomorrow and would it be possible at all to have one of the items by the next day… As the shop was closed on Saturday, the owner advised that he would try his very best to have the one item ready for me by end of day. A few hours later I received a call to say all items were ready- due to the owner staying late so I could collect everything this evening (A Friday!!) - for absolutely no extra charge.
