Another disadvantage of living here is pre-paid heating meters with no way yet to go tk a normal direct debit format and no notifications that your money on the machine are running out. Forgot to check the machine in the cupboard that shows the credit left? Tough luck if you waste cold water waiting for the never coming hot water. For a new build - see pictures of how the walls look like after less than a year. Looks like they hurried up with the plastering, and once it sucked in the layers of primer & coat it revelead the poor work underneath. Glad I don’t own it. In at least 3 of the buildings in the development the only heating built-in is the one through AC - terribly unconfortable, dries the air, takes a while until the heat comes down from the ceiling level, then the heat gets lost quickly after turning off the AC in the room. It’s the most unconfortable, poorly built appartment I lived in London, with the most expensive electricity bill - £500/month in the late autumn, winter and early spring months.

I’m here to compliment in particular staff from the customer service department. We moved in today and the time was indeed a bit tight cos we drove all the way from Leeds. The truck was very tall so we had to park it far away from our flat and move everything across one by one. The girl I’m complimenting was only meant to unlock the flat for us, but she’s was also helping us move some stuff, even tho it’s not her responsibility to do so. We had to unpack and lift loads of furniture into the flat so we had to run over time, she stayed with us until everything was moved, and we were quite sorry to make her go home late. It’s always great and heart warming to be served by people who are so kind! Looking forward to settling in here.

Nice place to spend with family and friends by the Tower Bridge. Big, expensive medieval and modern jachts are anchored there. You can have a relaxed chat at cafes or make some shoppping. Sadly, not much attractions for children, but you can visit periodical exhibitions at Dockside Vaults. Small public toilet also is available.

If you are thinking about investing to buy a property here or living here, this review may save you lots of money. Before you actually get the experience here, what you see would be the beautiful show room, wonderful gym and facilities and convenient location that kind of info that's transparent to every one. What you may not know is that the built quality in these properties is shocking, Despite within the two-year warranty period, we are expecting the bathroom to be repaired the 4th time (and not guaranteed to be fixed), and the MVHR was not installed to be compatible with the air cons so again multiple engineer visits to have it fixed. The communal lift has been on the repair-mode most of the time, so is the entrance gate. Hot water supply has been cut off (by the main facility so it affects lots of properties if not all) a couple of times a year. In addition, St George's customer care is very bureaucratic, the way they sort out the repair is extremely time wasting - they would send multiple here to your home (some are not even builders, just office staff) to have a LOOK at your issue so that they can write a report, and it turns out that the real builders who attend to fix the problems in the end do not really read the reports that the others took MONTHS to write. Lastly, if you are thinking about buy-to-let, St george would provide you with a sheet of paper of the estimate rent you can receive, which is all made-up and far from reality. I would quote from one of the other reviewers, 'do yourself a favour and avoid...

Reconsider before renting or buying. Really poor experience living here. Huge issues with utility bills. The whole development have been affected by 250-3000% increases in their heating + water bills (even if they don’t use them), this is causing people to have to fork out between £200-£1500+ per month just for these bills. This doesn’t include electricity, water, council tax, or apartment service charge. The building management as well as the utility company (Switch2 - Avoid at all costs) have refused to acknowledge these issues and instead continue to pass the baton back and forth to each other.

When renting in the building be sure to account for an extra 25-50% on top of your monthly rent (just for one of your many utility bills).

The gym is also always overpacked, and there are still a number of other buildings to be added, so this will only get worse.

The conceirge refuse to accept packages because they are “overrun”, but again this is supposed to be included in the service charge. They have also refused to hold keys as they have gotten too busy. This will only get worse with more buildings.

The pool isn’t constantly closed due to...

This development is NOT what it looks like from outside ... Poor management LONDON DOCKS Poor customer service ST GEORGE (the worst ever: get ready to be blamed of misuse instead of being helped... Both Useless : lots of promises but no effective actions you always have to fight to have a basic service that a normal customer service should provide This development (brand new) experiments tones of issues : floods (in many apartments due to a default unit conception) / broken lift (5 times in 6 months) / unavailable facilities (swimming pool and spa unavailable for months) / front doors defection (hiring of security as extra fees) / poor cleaning in the common area (dirt on brand new carpets) / defaults ventilation = no AC NEITHER ventilation (broke for more than 3 days after a mini storm) meaning that we had to sleep windows open with the noise of the opposite building / etc etc Every week it’s something different and it never ends You have to be aware that leaving there It’s like a four stars with a one star quality...
