An other must see stop in London, because of the history behind it and of course the Crown Jewels. It takes 2-2.5 hours to go around and spend some time in the gift shop. We were there on Thursday and it was not busy at all, either due to the working day or due to less tourists in COVID period. Highly recommended are the Yeoman Warder tours. They are free and are held every 30 min and begin near the main entrance. They and included in the ticket price but you need to wair for a group to start. I prefer real person meetings before the audio guide. We almost didn’t use the audio guide after hearing the interesting stories by the Beefeaters, the guardians of the Tower.

We had the honour of having Bill leading us around with all of his enthusiasm, humour and wit. Be sure to take the Jack the ripper tour that they organise every evening (ripper yarn tours?) Which starts daily at tower hill underground station at 1840h. These are not only cheaper but way better than the commercial ones.
