Had the banana cake because some of the reviews said it was good. Unfortunately I have to disagree -- it was extremely dry (and it's hard to make banana bread/cake dry...). The matcha had nicely frothed milk but it was a dark murky green and very bitter (poor quality matcha, and for the 5 pound price with nondairy milk, I expected much better). Staff was lovely, wish I had enjoyed my experience more.

We'll come here again. Fantastic food and coffee at reasonable prices. The avocado on toast was the best I've ever had - lots of well seasoned topping on a single slice of perfectly toasted sourdough, incredible flavour! The cafe is well decorated with subtle music - great atmosphere.

I don't know where the negative reviews are coming from but this is a beautiful, warm and welcoming cosy spot in the middle of Mortlake! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and catered to every dietary requirement. Best hot chocolate ever. Everything was perfect and as for the customer service, the staff were lovely and attentive and knew every regular customer that came through the door!

Coffee is great. But I’m afraid this place gets two stars because the last two times I’ve been there I’ve been enjoying myself and I’ve had to breathe in someone else’s cigarette who was sat on the small terrace. The staff place ashtrays on the table to encourage smoking and I don’t like it. I don’t want to go to a coffee shop where people smoke over me. I’m sorry to leave the bad review but i find it...
