So I started off at the newly regenerated part just behind Paddington Station and then followed my nose. There are some impressive buildings, lots of eateries, including on canal boats and barges. I have made a promise to go back and have something to eat on board the cheese barge. I particularly liked some of the artwork that is on display. Some done professionally, some not. Read moreSeeing as though it will take probably a million and one years for the current redevelopment at Paddington to be completed, it is worth mentioning this space off the usual haunts of tourists. If staying around here...there is little to do in W2 apart from take in the architecture, streets and shops. But just a short sashay around the back of the main street (Praed) will land the visitor in this area of scenic beauty.
