Bought a lovely wool jumper for my son (online) for Christmas. We liked it so much, we left a 5 star review on the product. The jumper developed a hole on the chest wall just below the logo. Upon closer inspection the jumper had been stitched and repaired with an almost invisible (from the outside) 3-4" stitch across the chest wall (!). The response from customer care person from Ralph Lauren (Pelo?) lacked any sort of apology for selling damaged (repaired!) goods and gave as one option to offer me £40 to keep the jumper - I am speechless! While this is not from the store, I am so surprised with the response received, I feel I need to leave this feedback to raise awareness. Is this the sort of customer care we should expect from Ralph Lauren? While I write this review, the case remains open. Perhaps this is brought to management attention and I get an appropriate apology along with the full refund I requested from customer care.

Absolutely love this place! Great building, great brand, great location. Nice atmosphere inside, more like a wealthy London home. The home section in the basement is really stylish, not too much range, but a really lovely setting and some really nice things. The bedding and decorative items. There is the usual abundance of 'Polo' in several rooms, but as you ascend the stairs, it just gets better. Some really lovely Black Label and Purple Label pieces in there. I often get offered a glass of chilled water with a slice of lemon, or a cappuccino. Just be careful as you browse. Don't want to get a coffee stain on those clothes!

Today, for the first time in my life, I faced incredibly destructive and racist treatment in this store. Believe me, my hands and feet are shaking even as I write this incident. Imagine a store where its employees do not even want to greet you if you are not wearing brand-smelling clothes. Yes, you didn't read it wrong. Unfortunately, such treatment is given in this store. I hope this article reaches the owner of the Polo Ralph Lauren brand. Because no employee has the right to treat any customer in such a disrespectful, destructive and racist manner. We pay money and are faced with a disgusting treatment. This is truly disgusting.

I went to this store today to return a product I bought before. I came to the grony off the till and waited for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the lady standing at the till, whose name was Kaydee, continued to wait there while we waited there for 10 minutes, without even bothering to say something or greet us. Later, when I couldn't stand it anymore and asked if she would help us, she rudely called another colleague to take care of us, without even looking at me or even asking why we came. When the person asked us, we stated that we came for a refund and he asked the lady named Kaydee, who was standing at the till, to help us. I asked her why she didn't even greet us and called another colleague without asking why we came. And I was faced with an incredibly rude behaviour. She arrogantly said that she did not have to greet. Unfortunately, I did not want to argue with her any further due to this behavior, so I told her to call the manager. Again, this lady left us there without any explanation or even an apology. We waited 10 minutes. And we tried to explain the situation to the other employees and asked if we were waiting for the manager or not. But unfortunately no one was interested. After waiting for 10 minutes, a manager named Fahim came to the till. And I tried to explain the situation to him. But unfortunately, he acted in a careless manner, as if the situation we were experiencing was normal. And even worse, he left us there without even apologizing and saying that he would not help us by standing behind the disrespect that his close friend, a lady named Kaydee, had done. I waited in front of the cash register for half an hour for someone to help me, but no one was interested. Even though I repeatedly explained the situation to the employees there and asked them to please help me, no one paid attention to the situation. Frankly, they left me in such a difficult situation in the store that I have never had such a bad experience in my life. They almost did us worse than beating us and putting us down. This is really not acceptable behavior and not professional at all. And I would like to state here that I will legally file a complaint against the employees who made me experience this situation.

Moreover, at the checkout, other customers asked me to help because their English wasn’t enough and they realized that we were from the same country. However, the other employee at the till rejected my request to help them and ignored my conversations.

It was truly an extremely shocking and disgusting experience. I hereby condemn these people, whose names I wrote because of their bad behavior, for this terrible event they made me experience. And I want the authorities to investigate this incident urgently. I would like to inform you that I will not leave this situation here and will take it to court. Today, they literally treated us as if we were the plague. They left us alone in front of the till. Another man who was there warned the people I asked for help, saying no, ā€œdon't help themā€. I still can't digest what happened. It was...

This is not the ideal place for this review. I am complaining about their customer service and online store. Unfortunately, there is no other place I could leave a review and express my displeasure. I almost exclusively wear Polo and RL and also tend to buy my gifts from there. Everyone who knows me jokes that I have more of their items than some of their stores! Normally, there are no problems. I enjoy visiting their stores and I also enjoy shopping online. Last week I purchased six items online. Two for myself and four gifts. I ticked the gift box and gift card options for the four gifts. I received all the cards but only two of the items were in gift boxes. The items for the kids were in clear plastic bags. I emailed them and asked them for an explanation and a couple of boxes. Their response wasn’t helpful and they refused to remedy the situation. I went on the online chat this morning and had the same conversation. Again, they refused to do anything about it. Apparently, they reserve the right not to send gift boxes! I even said I didn’t want boxes and that just two very small bags would do. Asked them to pop them in the post and I’ll have them in a couple of days. They totally refused. This defies any logic. If I had bought them in any of their stores they would have had to bag the items and would not have refused to give me two small bags. Are we to stop using their online store because of their appalling customer service? It’s a small matter but has caused me a great deal of annoyance and...

Unpleasant shopping experience. Went to 1st floor to buy shirts handed card to pay then sat down on sofa. While waiting I am asked if I have been offered a drink ; I order water, a minute later I am asked by another clerk the same question (it is not crowded) . Then clerk calls me over not to enter pin but for interrogation. "First time to our store?" ... I asked for vat refund form as I do not reside in the U.K. . Clerk asks "Where are you from?" I reply, then he follows with " how long you lived there?" "what's your email?" I reply that I am not comfortable giving. He then asks for my address , I asked what my personal info would be used for. He makes the excuse that it is just in case there is a return. He then asks my postcode, I give and the block of flats I reside at appears on the computer screen, but he doesn't know the floor so he asks , I tell him, but then several flats appear on the floor on his screen so he asks which one. To which I remain silent. After buying shirts I look at the shoes. Clerk says do not have my size but pushes me to try on anyway. I try it on and remark it is too tight against the toes; the clerk still tries selling them replying with "it's nice shoes". I think good customer service is listening and showing consideration the opposite is what I got at RL in Bond Street; I will...
