Hotel Chocolat — Local services in Manchester

We had the ice cream (hazelnut topping) with a piece of chocolate. I have to be honest. The quality of the product is beyond low. Watered down ice cream, the worst piece of chocolate (only resembles chocolate), while the topping was good. They have the audacity to even write ice cream of the gods on it! Honestly, when I was eating it I was dreaming of the ice cream from McDonalds…i have to say, the most unique experience ever and I do not want to be rude or anything. I would suggest to focus on quality if your are selling yourselves as a chocolate speciality shop. PS: 30% of the icecream was missing from the cup because they poured both with a cavity…Never seen that...

Great service!!! I went into the Manchester Arndale store on the 14th November and was served by two lovely members of staff named Roz and Sid, both were so friednly and welcoming and helped me pick some Christmas gifts and seemed to have good product knowlage! I also signed up to a V.I.P card with the help of Sid and got to sample a chcoclate from Roz, which I will be coming into purches soon as they tasted gorgeous! This place has never been on my radar to set foot through the door, I usually do my shopping online, but after braving the crowds of Manchester I was intrigued by the kind of bygone era layout of this chocolate shop. From the moment I entered the staff here are welcoming and after I’d had a free sample of the ice cream I was shown the ‘Chocolatiers Table’ which is like something from Willy Wonka.
