First time visiting a UK Tim Hortons. Found staff to be friendly and helpful. They were happy to cut our food so my wife and I could share. We ordered a triple cheese burger, crispy chicken and bacon burger, chicken tenders, lattice fries, vanilla latte, and a French vanilla iced coffee, Oh, also a 10 piece Timbits. Food was served quickly with a smile. Chicken tenders tasted great (far better than other fast food establishments) they were soft and succulent with a great tasting coating. The chicken burger tasted great too. The triple beef burger was OK at best. Have definitely had better elsewhere. Also was only warm (not warm enough to melt the cheese). The pickle and crunchy onions were a nice touch. Both drinks were great. the only issue was that the iced coffee had sugar in the bottom of the cup, making it almost crunchy towards the end. The Timbits tasted nice, a great way to finish our lunch. The restaurant was clean and clearly well kept. Spent almost £30 on lunch for 2 adults. We will return. We would probably avoid the beef burgers next time. Maybe try a hot dog instead. 🙃

Trying to find a reason to give this place a higher rating but its impossible. I will start by giving the reasons it's got a 2. Firstly the drink, I had the tropical cooler and wow it was good. The second star would be for the doughnuts, great choices to choose from. Had the caramel apple fritter and it was delicious. That's the two good things, hence the two stars. Now on to the bad. The meal I chose was the bacon double cheeseburger which comes with the lattice fries. Both were only just warm, going from other reviews it has been the same since it opened. The burger ... wow. The less said the better. It was so pale, like it had just come out the freezer, tastless and did not look appetising at all. The bacon looked like it had barely touched the grill too. (See pictures) You know its bad when you hear a child on another table ask their parent if the burger was OK to eat, if a 7 year old can see that something is wrong! At £20 for 2 meals I will certainly not be going back. They should reopen as a doughnot / coffee shop.

Food was okay, it wasn’t amazing however. The burger had a slightly weird taste to it which I wasn’t a big fan of. The drinks were amazing however and we would go back just for them alone. We had two bacon double cheeseburgers, lattice fries and a drink each and then some chicken on the side. The dips were nice, we had the chipotle dips which reminded us of the southwest sauce at subway. I had the oreo cappuccino drink was delicious and my partner had a cherry ice cooler which was strong in flavour. I do think it is maybe overpriced at £10 for a meal too. There is wheelchair accessible parking available and also is easily accessible for wheelchairs through the doors if they had them both open. Not sure if we would make the journey again to visit, would possible visit if we were near one unless there was a better option available.

Timmy’s had been on the agenda for a while, so in pursuit of good food and coffee(to go with the great company of course!)my friends and I decided to finally try it out. We went on Wednesday evening around 7:30pm.

It was quiet and upon arrival we were met by Karan behind the counter; with a big friendly smile, ready to take our order. To be honest, my friend commented on how his was the only friendly face she’d seen in Mansfield, so naturally we had a giggle.😆

We got talking to Karan for a few minutes(just general chit chat) which was nice. As it was our first visit we asked for his suggestions about the menu. The chicken looked enticing and so we momentarily joked about how it couldn’t possibly be halal! We posed the question to Karan and to our surprise he replied “Yes!” (which was completely unexpected!🤣)

We didn’t wait too long before our food was brought to our table. It was well presented and had decent portions along with condiments and napkins. The food was very nice and the lattice fries were an instant win!!👌

After food we decided to have a coffee and doughnut(why not?!) This time Amandeep was on the counter with Karan. Another friendly face and another chat. As TH was out of the French Vanilla Latte(frequently requested by me by family their visits to Canada/UAE), the lads suggested a few drinks on the menu. I went for the caramel macchiato and absolutely loved every sip!! On that note the caramel and maple doughnut was equally indulgent!!(I bought a few doughnuts home for the kids too!)

As we left, we asked whether we could tip them to which they replied that it was against company rules and asked us to kindly leave a google review instead. The manager also gave us a complimentary doughnut, which was such a nice gesture. We were overwhelmed!! We are definitely going back as altogether it was a brilliant experience.

Overall great management and staff. Karan and Amandeep are an asset to the company and I wish them both the best of luck in all of their future...

Had an appalling experience this morning at Mansfield. Arrived to a busy store 15 minutes before the breakfast deal was due to finish. We attempted to order 5 meals, however the order screen would only allow 2 orders to be placed at a time. We weren’t the only customers experiencing this problem, seemed there was some technical issue with their IT. We waited 30 minutes for our order to be served, some customers were only waiting for a coffee so these wait times were far from acceptable. When we were finally called for our order, I politely spoke to the colleague and said I appreciate you are busy, however a 30 minute wait for these meals is far from great. I received no apology and simply got “ I can’t help technical issues”. I chose to not respond as it was clear I was getting nothing in return. We watched other customers approach the bar to enquire about their order, again observing no apology and just found the whole experience a shambles. My husband then ordered 5 donuts and approached the colleague who had served me initially. He complained to her about the wait and got told I had given the colleague attitude. Is this a reason to be rude to a customer? She was unprofessional, however, she was also under pressure. She received little support from the manager who I’m not even sure was on duty. Two assistants came from the back and listened to my husbands complaint but once again he returned with nothing but an apology.

Tim Hortons at Drakehouse is a much better operation. Quick, efficient service, polite colleagues and hot food. If there is a small wait, then complimentary timbits are offered as an apology. This exceeds expectations.

Appreciate that things go wrong but Mansfield team need to review their customer service. It will be some time before I am willing to return...

On Saturday 10th September I visited one of your stores situated in Mansfield Nottinghamshire.

On entering the building the dining area was very cluttered with all tables together leaving no space between them.

This meant that strangers were sat right at the side of you.

The service was very poor. We ordered our meals @ 12.22pm and we finally received them @ 12.44. This was to make 3 cold drinks, 1 Coffee, 1 childs meal,1 burger meal and 1 Chicken meal.

Whilst waiting around for our food, nearly every customer was returning food due to incorrect orders, which at that point did not give of a good impression.

We received a child's meal of a chicken burger and lattice fries which when we opened the box there was only 2 fries inside, when I questioned this I was informed that is what you get for childs meal.

This to me seems very poor especially with the amount of money being charged for this.

I have just returned from a vacation in Canada and the establishments over there are much cleaner, food served quicker, complaints dealt with much better. Overall the ones here seem to be more like a fast food burger joint than a coffee shop like in Canada, which is very disappointing to say the least.

The price you are charging in the UK is more than double.

I have been paying $1.89 for a medium Coffee, but here I paid £3.29, which is significantly more, Why?

Unfortunately due to prices, very disappointing meals, poor service, uncleanness I will not be visiting again. I paid just over £34 which I...
