Taco Bell — Restaurant in Mansfield

Went for a quick impromptu dinner with the family. Got halfway through an order on the touch screen before it stopped functioning!? No fix, so I went to till to place an order. Waited quite a while despite having a few staff members and not being that busy. Placed order and sent family to find a table. The restaurant area had clearly been forgotten by staff as all tables, bar a few, were dirty and had food waste and wrappers on. Approached staff and asked if I could have a cloth to wipe our table, as it was now getting busier. Was told that someone would be out to do it. After a while, someone came out and started sweeping the floor. I asked once for our table to be cleaned, to be told to wait a min. He continued to sweep the floor, so I asked again for a cloth so I could do it myself. Again told to wait a min. Eventually, our table was cleaned, and our food order was called. Collected food and returned to our table. Firstly, the fries taste amazing. The seasoning is just right! The rest of the food was just tiny. I ate a Volcano Burrito. This tasted good but was sooooo small! Another disappointment was the cheese and jalapeño quesadilla. Extremely poorly cut and just thrown together. The sauce sides (guacamole, sour cream, cheese sauce) priced at 99p each were tiny and poor value for money. The guacamole was not nice. We left the whole (small) portion. Wow, what a fantastic meal that we have had from Taco Bell! We walked into the establishment and could see just how busy the team were. The restaurant has been jampacked full every single time we have passed it and it’s safe to say there’s a good reason why.

The food in here is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming that it’s a nice refreshing change to walk into a fast food establishment where the staff actually take pride in their work.

We had the cravings box meal for four and everything was spot-on. The food from here is so delicious and there is nothing quite like it in the Mansfield area so it makes a great change to try something different.

If you haven’t give it a go, I would certainly recommend doing so!

I do just want to point out that I believe some of the previous reviews have been quite negative and I think they have given the restaurant a really harsh time when they should be a bit more considerate that it has only been open for two weeks. People are so quick to jump to criticism when in an actual fact if they just called up the restaurant I’m sure they would’ve resolved there issues.

The staff in here are fantastic and really cannot do enough for you. By far the best service I’ve received in a fast food restaurant in the whole of Mansfield! If they keep this up I’m sure this will be a well loved hotspot in the town...

First time in a Taco Bell. We ate in. Menu choice wasn't vast but plenty of choice and options including veggie, You could also tweak your individual order to suit, like No tomatoes or cheese etc. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The inside is surprisingly small, maybe 30 seats, but there is a drive through and you can have it delivered through the usual apps, just eat etc. We didn't use the toilet so can't comment. In the twenty minutes we were there nobody was out cleaning the tables or drinks area so limiting our seating, and parts of the electronic menu board kept moving so reading it first time was a challenge, But I suppose you get used to it eventually. The food was WOW. Really tasty and really juicy, plenty of napkins needed, It could get messy. Fries have a not too spicy coating and are the best we've had, all our food was delicious. Drinks were free top ups with a choice of about six. Also help yourself to napkins and sauce sachets, ketchup, Mild, and fire . Price is similar to BK and McD's so great value.
