We visited here again (11.10.2020) for the first time since the outbreak of covid loved the place the first time round was amazing clean and tidy plenty Todo but this time round was a whole new ball game. When we entered we was told stay to the right but a security officer who was on the phone!!! His radio was going off and he just turned it down! I'm a head of security in my career and this behaviour would never be tolerated ESPECIALLY public facing and where entry to a building or area has to be monitored so carefully, as we headed round we came to another security officer yelling and shouting at people to stick to the left when we have just been told to stick to the right? When I voiced this he said "don't cos I'll chuck u out bruv" he changed his tune when I shew him my license! And told him 1, I'm not Ur BRUV 2, the guy at the front has told us to keep right and is on his phone and 3 you CANNOT control entry or "chuck anyone out" on his current license ( for those that are not aware if a security officers license has a blue, purple, yellow or pink strip down the right side of it they cannot put hands on you or control entry to a building or premises they can only give advice, control CCTV or transport goods and patrol the strip must be either orange or red). When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that will never happen because there is no manager on a Saturday and if there was no one would come and talk to you. I went to the customer service desk which was empty, I then popped to the toilet with my family and wow how discusting and dirty, marks all up the pans floor had food everywhere the urinals was leaking just generally a horrible place. The cleaner walked in signed a sheet then walked out I was SO SHOCKED especially in the currant condition the world is in. Me and my family walked out in the end just too many negatives in a short space of time to warrant continuing to look around we drove 2 and half hours to come here for stores like Dr martins, Lego, sports direct and Waterstones, have some food in the food court and spend some money we have saved for over a year so we can do a big Xmas shopping trip but no sorry the cleanliness and lack of service means alot of shops at Intu have suffered we was not the only people who walked out because of issues it was like a hoard of people walked in and out along side us. No wonder Intu is going under with this experience truly TRULY...
