I am a regular shopper at Milton Keynes Zara, but had the worse experience today. A few weeks ago I ordered a parcel to my local post office, but it was never delivered, so Zara online provided me with a refund . A few days later I went to collect something in store and it was given to me there, meaning it was delivered to the store by accident instead of the post office. As a good will gesture I took it into store and explained to the assistant I don’t want a refund I am just handing the item back as I have already been refunded. She was new and didn’t know what to do so called someone else to help. A store assistant called Christina came over and said I would need to post it back, I was like no I am not trying to Inconvinence myself. I just want to hand you back your dress. She got irate and started shouting that it’s an online order and has nothing to do with them. I told her to calm down and she said I should call customer service which I did in store and they were very confused why they wouldn’t accept it back and asked me to hand them the phone.
Lucky for me the store manager came over called Celia and I explained to her what had happened she was confused also why she wouldn’t accept the dress back, she went over to explain to the ladies at the till and she started shouting at her too screaming it needs to be checked etc we just can’t accept it like that bla bla bla.
At this point I asked them if they would just want me to put it eBay as I was only doing them a favour by handing back an item anyways.not like it had any benefit to me at all !
The store manager called customer service and they basically said collect the dress off her and accept it as an extra added item. Then that rude little witch of a shop assistant Christiana came over shouting give me the dress now, give me the dress now let me check i trying to take it from me !!!! I am still in disbelief as I am typing this and have logged an official complaint, let’s see what they come back with. All of this stress I should have just kept the...
Read morewhy is the staff so bad and why are there barely any ? i was waiting in the queue for a good 25 minutes until i got anywhere near the till. after looking at how long the queue was ( bearing in mind the customer behind me had a pushchair and a small baby) i expected to see the workers behind the counter, swiftly getting through the customers at a rapid pace or at least as soon as possible and putting their all into packing up peoples clothes. however, when i looked over at the two blonde workers, i see that they're taking their time, folding the clothing extremely slowly and not putting in any effort whatsoever to quickly get things into bags and lessen the dreadful line of customers. every time i looked up, the two ladies were both having a jolly good chat with each other as if multiple people aren't getting frustrated because of how slow they're going! and because theyre having such a good chat when they should be working, they stop folding pieces of clothing which is what they SHOULD be doing. i felt it was extremely disrespectful to the patient customers in the queue who have business of their own to attend to. they get paid to work. not to have a nice chat about the weekend before. never buying anything from here again. it'd be surprising to even see me inside...
Read moreWe went to Zara Milton Keynes looking for a coat for my husband. The store was quite busy which isn't unusual for this time of year in Zara. We found a coat we really liked but my husband's size was on a mannequin on the shop floor. I asked a team member if we could try the coat on and she found a merchandiser willing to remove the coat but she advised that unless we wished to purchase the coat she would not take it off because it was a waste of time. I told her we would not know if we wanted to buy unless he had tried it on, to which she replied that she would not remove it without us confirming we would buy. I felt very frustrated that we had travelled from Northampton to Milton Keynes to try on some coats we had seen on the website to be told that it would be a waste of their time to assist us. I find it bizarre that they would insist the coat stay on the mannequin where it would then be less likely to be sold. There would have been a good chance we would have brought it and other items in the store but my husband and I we're quite annoyed by the attitude of the member of staff so we just left and found some wonderful customer service elsewhere in Milton Keynes...
