Absolutely appalling rubbish! Sorry-actually no I'm not-we were treat by a member of our family to fish and chips from this shop for our Golden Wedding Anniversary tea and it was virtually inedible. The fish was coated in a flat tasteless 'batter' which was swimming in grease-I kid you not! there were small bones left in it and the chips must've been reheated as they were all hard and not nice at all. Albeit it was all warm but horrible and most went into the bin. Never again! who ever runs this place needs to learn how to fillet and cook fish and not...

My husband and I grabbed some fish and chips from here because it was on the way to our destination, didn't really know what to expect.

The food was absolutely delicious! The batter was so crispy, the chips were beautifully crispy and fluffy and when we asked for a decent amount of salt and vinegar we got the perfect amount.

The lady that served us was lovely, came outside to get everyone's orders to ensure social distancing in the shop.

Lovely lady serving. Place looked clean. But the food wasn't great. I had fish cake and chips, my Mum had corned beef patty and chips. Chips were OK, but the fish cake and patty were bread crumbed and then battered. Both were like fatty cardboard on the outside. The patty was nicely peppery though.
